naughty, naughty Control Account talking about a "penalty". You know that's not allowed, and it's illegal to use that word. As for the RK being responsible that's just pure equine manure.

Yes, they also took longer than the statutory 14 days to respond after my original contact with them and in fact took 4 to 5 months untile their next correspondance. They're also yet to provide me with any photographic evidence (which I've requested).

I have looked a the forums on hear. I am currently being chased by Graham White solicitors for an excel parkiong fine + costs. I have had all the letters as expected. They are now phoning my house, there is no mention of this on the forums. Should I be any more worried? How do I get them to stop? I have just refused to speak to them but they still ring again.

    Any help or advice appreciated

You couldn't have looked far. There are several mentions on this forum of them phoning up. If they do phone again, tell them the "debt" is denied and any further calls will be treated as harassment and reported to the appropriate authorities. And, by the way, it's not a "fine".

Hi I'm looking for some advice. I received the linked ticket from County Parking Enforcement Agency while parked in a college.

I had an A4 laminate Parking Permit issued by the college displayed on my windscreen. I was in a 20min bay but the job I was doing took 30mins. A bit harsh but I had a ticket slapped on my window on my return. The guy I was working for took it and said he would have it cancelled. Unfortunately he phoned me 2 days later and said I would have to pay

I looked in here and decided to ignore it. It is a lease car and my company is down as registered keeper. My company has received demands and I wrote to them stating they could not be held liable for any cost and included links to the advice on here. They received the 2nd linked file from Philips Specialist Bailiff and Debt Recovery Agents and have told me to get it sorted.

How should I follow this up as I have been reluctant to correspond with them as per advice on here?

It wont let me post links as I'm a newbie :o

    Ignore them.

Please do start your own thread and show the links without the http:// (we will convert them).

Please no questions or replies here as this thread is just for letter info.

Unashamed bump to put this useful thread back to the top.

Any newbies should look at the letter-chains here and also look at 'welcome, please read before posting'.

Watch the Watchdog video clip there on that sticky and if you still need to ask questions then start a new thread. But the answer will be 'ignore' if it's a private (fake) PCN, whether you have overstayed or whatever. PPC industry = scam. :)

NO REPLIES HERE PLEASE UNLESS YOU ARE SHOWING US A NEW DEBT COLLECTOR LETTER FOR OUR FIRST POST.

That's the name of the PPC's game. Use threatening language, call your company by a name that sounds official, and send out paperwork that imitates that used by councils and the police.

It's a shame more can't be done to stop these companies scaring people into paying something they shouldn't have to.. its daylight robbery!

It's even worse that people wake up daily and go to these companies to work knowing what they're up to...
