I've just scanned the barcode in the GW letter & have the reference, I'd suggest washing it as the reference number & personal stuff has been.
OK thanks - I've removed those links temporarily - could you edit them out of your post please?

    Cheers :)

Got a new one to add to our collection, many thanks to Decker on pepipoo for saying I can link these images here:

    Park Direct Limited:

    First this blue letter/ticket:

    then this pretty red version:

    http://i46.tinypic.com/2znpau8.jpg

then this from Claims Handling Direct:

    http://i48.tinypic.com/24e12fb.jpg

Decker ignored them of course and received nothing else, and that was five months ago.

    HTH :T
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Done. Bear in mind a barcode is basically text that can be read if you have a scanner.

    Background:
Was collecting disabled person after surgical discharge from NHS property.
Clearly displaying the persons Blue Badge while I waited with the car in the designated collect/drop off bay while another brought the patient out.
No ticket placed on the car or given to me...

    Letter 1
    http://tinypic.com/r/10f72vb/6
    Demand for £85
After a bit of research I decided like many others to ignore.

    Letter 2; The 'final' demand
    http://tinypic.com/r/24cwlc4/6
Now they are trying to add further 'costs' to a claim they have no right to..
    Demanding £135

    Letter 3; Threatening litigation...
    http://tinypic.com/r/313re54/6
    Getting quite bullish now...:)

    Letter 4; 'Intended litigation'
    http://tinypic.com/r/34qlk7t/6
Hang on... didn't they already issue the notice in letter 3?(first paragraph)... :D

    Final letter (the fifth) from them;
    http://tinypic.com/r/28wdjxs/6
Finally they offer a very large discount in their desperation...:rotfl:

Total bill to them for postage: £1.52
Cost to me: nothing apart from a little bit time on research and a sore belly from the laughter:rotfl:

I would recommend anyone who gets similar to ignore them. Any attempt to discuss it will lead to them believing you WILL be coerced into paying at least something eventually. By ignoring them the only option will be for them to issue proceedings, which they will not do as it is an un-enforcable issue.

Hi Pimpslider - if you just copy and paste the image links into a post on this thread I'll then update the first post to include them.

Thanks very much for taking the time to upload your letters - much appreciated by us and I'm sure all the peeps who will see that they're not alone in receiving pathetic and cowardly threats.

You could always illegally park again to start it up for a 2nd time.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
