Evening folks, I've finally caught up with the backlog
and updated the first post with new information.
Many thanks to all who took the time to scan and upload their letters and those who help out with advice. As ever, it is very much appreciated. :cool:0 -
I too have received ticket and letters from National Clamps and Debt Recovery Plus. I have written to National Clamps disputing the ticket, but they have continued with their letters and I have now received two from Debt Recovery Plus (with the contravention date in the future!!). I am ignoring them. I have googled these companies and DRP seem to be a private residence with a lady accountant at the address with several businesses registered there.0

One letter from 'Valley Enforcement', then the usual CCS Collect letter-chain shown on G24's listing above on the first post. Click and see what's coming next!
Read taxiphil's post here which sums up the letters you'll get if they still use the same debt collectors (if they don't, please post new pics):

Hi,
I have previously obtained advice regarding a CPN from a private company being the university of Bradford.
I have recieved threats after appeals which have been ignored. I have taken advice and ignored them they continue to persist with threats re:debt collectors and taking me to court etc.
Please find copies of the letters attached to the link below
I would appreciate any feedback as this always helps to reassure
Cheers!X

The usual rubbish!
I like the way they said in May 'there is no merit in entering into any further correspondence regarding this...'.
Then here they were, end of July, still writing to you and saying 'pay up or we may involve a debt collection agency!' Ooooooh how scary - a debt collection agency to write more letters!
Thanks for posting these, my son will hopefully be going to Uni somewhere in a year's time and seeing their typical letters makes a nice change from the usual PPC scammers.
Keep on ignoring, they are not going to take you to Court, the very very rare cases that have been tried recently (by a deluded PPC called OPC) have lost because the tickets are unenforceable on so many levels. If you get a debt collector writing to you then just ignore them and look at the letter chains on the first sticky on the board to see how many pieces of rubbish you'll be getting.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Shocking that the University of Bradford is putting their name to this, they even do law degrees there, yet they use scare tactics that are frankly bordering on being illegal to force people to pay unenforceable tickets in their car parks, wonder what their law department thinks on this? Perhaps their lecturers would like to have a say on it?
http://www.brad.ac.uk/management/programmes/law/Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Nice one guys!
I know the letter head was really getting on my nerves. Obviously when contacting the uni they denied all knowledge of the letters being sent on their letter head!!
My sister is definately not heading to this uni! Forgot to add on the recent letter which states that they will reduce the amount to £30 again.....how kind of them.
Again given me another opportunity of 14 days to pay this amount and if i dont of course they will write to me again for the full payment etc etc.
What a joke! I most certainly will drop an email to the any one of the law lecturers just to find out their thoughts.....the outcome i am sure will be very interesting
Cheers X0 -
I wonder if any of the law professors got tickets and then just paid them?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
