You girls should defo go New York. I went in 2008 with 5 of my mates. Only went for 5 days, but thats quite alot of time for a city that never sleeps :D Managed to fit in all the bits like central park, empire state building, trip to liberty island to the statue of liberty and all that business. Plus a whole load of shopping :D Wasnt anywhere near as expensive as i thought it'd be either!

The do Friends tours and SATC tours - which you should defo look up before you go, we didnt hear too much about them when we were out there. Wouldnt of been able to convince the lads to have gone on the SATC one anyway! :o

Oooo, sounds like fun Lulu!! I didn't know they did Friends tour, though it makes sense!

Just had a visit from OH and his youngest brother :D Turns out I was so grumpy I needed a visit from OH and his mini-me to cheer me up! :o Trying to find his little brother a good deal on a DSLite now though, as he kind of broke his old one!

Looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow :)

The NY birthday trip sounds great! Especially as it's a girlie trip. I love planning for what I'm gonna save for too, even though I don't have enough money to save for everything!

How annoying about your Uncle  I hate it when people do stuff like that.

I know I'm a bit behind but just watching My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding!

I need to buy a new DS charger cause mine has broken, it's very annoying.

You doing any baking this weekend Cinny? or Tete? The raspberry cupcakes sound good even if they are complicated. The lemon fairy cakes are gorgeous, and so simple!

Sweet of your OH and his brother to come cheer you up! My OH leaves me alone when I'm grumpy! Enjoy your lie in tomorrow :)

Hi Zig!! OH only came over because when I'm grumpy I bug the life out of him :o Was nice to see him though, as I hadn't seen him since last Sunday.

I'm baking a bit, making an eggless apple sponge and pizzas as a treat for OH. Need to make a list for the shop actually. Knowing me I'll get distracted if I don't :o

Got an email to say I've sold a book on Amazon :j will go towards the Laptop whenever I transfer it to my account.

    Morning Cinny

Bless you baking for your OH :D

    You're doing well on Amazon!

I cant believe you've made £20 off MM, you must be selling boxes worth!? I only managed £8 or £9 (which they still havent sent me the cheque for!), and the box was packed lol

Errmm, was 25 DVDs I think! Really rubbish old ones we've collected over the years and hadn't watched in ages, so not too bad.

They still haven't sent you the cheque? That's a bit odd! I normally get mine within a week of them getting the DVDs. Have you chased them for it?

Also figured out I've only got one more contracted payment to my cineworld card, think me and OH are cancelling it as we don't go as much as we did. Think we'll be switching to DVD rentals, we can try a few freebie ones first and see if we use them enough :D

    Hi,

The New York trip sounds fab, you will absolutely love it there. I really want to go back.

I do the DVD rental thing and love it, is exiting when you get home to a new DVD. I do unlimited DVDs for a tenner a month although obviously there are only so many you can watch.

    Have a great weekend.

Thanks Wendz. I figure we'll only get to watch 1 a weekend if that, so might do a 4 a month package, if they still do them like that!

Started raining on me in town and I forgot my brolly. Hmph! Didn't get too wet though, as it started raining just as I was heading home.

    Spent -
£2.68 in the Post Office - Sent the book, got some packing stuff and posted a letter so not bad!
£5.11 in Asda - Just on bits for making tea, although obviously stuff like bread flour and caster sugar will be used in loads of other things!
    Total Spends: £7.79

My Parents have gone out for the day, and I told them I'd do a couple loads of washing so I best get on with that. Still need to make the cake and pizza sauce but that can wait till this afternoon. Should get a move on and stop faffing around! :D
