I did say in your thread Dinah! Well, I'm about 99% sure I did!

Phew, just sat down! Made the pizza dough, cake and sauce. Done 3 loads of washing so far but I think there's another one to go. Dried it all and folded it (I am pretty rubbish at folding clothes :o) Changed my bedding too as after being sneaky and putting Pippin on OHs side of the bed one day it turns out he is actually allergic and wasn't making it up *ahem* :A

    Afternoon :)

OH is sat watching Around the World in 80 Days so I thought I'd update this.

Wasn't expecting to spend any money today, but we went to the supermarket to get stuff for dinner and ended up spending £6.09. But that will be it for today. Have something like £5.91 left from the £20 I took out yesterday as I put a couple coins into my penny jar too!

Not much else planned for today, might take the pooches for a mooch! Driving lesson went really well though, and he's talking about booking my test now, which is exciting in a 'nooooooooo! It's too scary' kind of way. Uber telly night tonight though :o Larkrise to Candleford and Desperate Housewives x2!

That is always the way when you go for a few bits isn't it, ends up being quite expensive.

Sounds like you are doing great on your driving lessons, much better than I was!

Thanks Wendz! I think it's the road sense from the Vespa that's helping me. The £6 wasn't too bad, OH decided we were going to have a starter, main and dessert for dinner. Managed to talk him down from the high end stuff to own brand which helped! Had these lovely veggie spicy bean and nacho burgers, which I'm going to attempt to make myself as they didn't seem too complex (she says..)

Posted the Apple Cake I made yesterday on my blog too.

Trying to think of something to do now, OH has gone home and I've just slobbed since then *taps chin* Think I might clean my room! (I know, crazy teen over here!)

    Happy new week :D

Was speaking to my Mum this morning and because it's my birthday this week she's going to fill my car up for me :o how nice is that?! After that though, as she won't be using my car bar a couple trips to the supermarket it's all down to me for petrol. So enter another re-jiggle of the budget *rollyeyes*

On the other hand, it means I might be able to put £5 or so into the spare change jar this week. Lovely!

    To do List for today:
Ring Cineworld about Unlimited Card - See when the last payment will be
    Re-sort Budget
    Make Oaty Biscuits
    1 post on each blog

Not much really! Should cross it all off though which is a bonus. Should be using up a couple more things off the toiletries list today though, which I still need to update with the stuff I was given/gave away!

Have a nice morning though everyone!

You doing any baking this weekend Cinny? or Tete?

I made an enormous coffee cake last night for Dad's birthday today, haven't tried it yet but was amazingly able to sleep last night despite eating a LOT of the cake mix whilst I was making it :D

    :rotfl: HA! Love it!

I knwo what you mean too about spending more than you think - I actually genuinely thought I'd dropped a tenner out of my purse yesterday but when I sat down and thought hard about it ... yup, I really had spent almost £20 without thinking about it

It's crazy how easy it is to spend £20 without noticing now! When I was a bairn £20 was a lot of money but now you need about £50 to get the same amount of stuff!

I checked my bank balance through my fingers this morning and I've got the grand sum of £80 to last until payday on the 9th April! Argh! I think I put too much in our joint account to go towards the wedding, or more likely the TV license since we've just had the reminder through, and I've put money aside for London but I just really hope that I'll make it to payday without having to dip into my London fund! I'm going to become a hermit! I think I'm going to make some cards one night and stick up a sign at work to try and sell them for extra cash!

That is lovely of your Mum, bless her!

It is so easy to spend £20. I am down to my last £4 and a week left. Will have to start borrowing money meant for the credit card till payday. I was a hermit all weekend, another one the same I think!

Yeah, it looks like I've got 2 hermit weekends coming up! Oh well, if I get myself into gear and sort out the spare room I can get the craft bug and make lots of things to sell! That's the hope... the reality will probably be very different!
