    List for tonight:

[STRIKE] 1- Clean Room (was on list for tomorrow, but I forgot I'm working!)
    2- Make dinner for tomorrow
3- Find place in room for the spare pennies jar
4- Make said penny jar look pretty, as it's a bit blah atm![/STRIKE]

Thanks Wendz, and I did! :D

I made the pasta thingy from the link I posted and snuck a little taste (alright, a mouthful or 2) and it's lovely! Can't wait for my dinner now, ahah!

Also started up a new blog here for things like baking ect! Will do a proper post tomorrow I think *taps chin* If I can think of something to do it about.

Cake sounds good, I'm on the lookout for a good coffee cake recipe for Dad's birthday on Monday ...

I love coffee cake so let me know if you find a good recipe! Would these beans do for the decoration? And I think the chocolate icing would work. Yum!

Going to be a good pretend wifey and cook him tea for when he gets in. But it's just a matter of what *rubs chin* Thinking something like HM pizza and apple cake for afters.

I love being pretend wifey. Your dinner sounds lovely! I'm making these sultana and lemon fairy cakes on Saturday, I hope they're nice!

Lucky!! I'm just having the day :p No major plans, OH normally surprises me with something though so we'll see. I'm guessing cinema (want to see Kick-!!! and The Blindside) and a meal..somewhere.. just the typical date night stuff but with cake! It's not a milestone birthday though, so I'm not bothered about a fuss really!

Those fairy cakes look/sound lovely, I'm sure they'll turn out great :D

Been at work 5minutes and it's all done :o We're on a lot of big jobs at the moment, but it means not so much paperwork or smaller jobs for moi. Have a couple big threads I want to read/catch up on though so atleast that's something to do!

Thanks for the link Zig - on closer inspection though they don't actually look like coffee beans when they're covered in chocolate do they (rolly-eyes)? So I might just try Tesco for some un-ground coffee! I can be very blonde sometimes! Good luck with the cakes they sound lovely! I was going to make some raspberry cupcakes from my new Primrose Bakery book tonight but when I checked the recipe this morning to see what I'd need it seemed very complicated, eg for the white chocolate icing you have to make up their vanilla butter icing first so you've got 4 tablespoons of it to go in the white chocolate one, I got frustrated just reading the recipe so might be sticking with the Hummingbird for a long while yet!

Ah you're lucky Cinny, but it's annoying being stuck at work doing nothing productive when you could be home doing something enjoyable instead!

    Morning!

Lovely lovely payday, moved £20 in the HD account, £10 in the Holiday and £20 to the laptop debt. Giving myself £20 spending money this week, as I doubt I'll need anymore. At the end of the week (thurs) I'll round my account down and pop it in the laptop account.

Also decided once I've paid the laptop off, I'm going to use that account for my New York money. Me and my Sister are going to go after I turn 21 (2 years!) But want to build the money up gradually rather than having a blind panic couple months on the lead up, so I'll be saving £5 or £10 a week depending what I can afford. So sad, I've barely saved anything towards my laptop and I'm already planning what comes next :o I'm already excited though :D

Put £3 something of change into my 'spare pennies' pot this morning, trying not to count it so it's a surprise come the holiday when I empty it. *feels even sadder*

Also sending my MMP DVDs off today, and I got my cheque from Tescos in the post yesterday (£1.26!) which I'll be putting in the bank tomorrow.

I got a birthday card from BingoBritain too, saying they'd credited my account with £5 which was only valid 8th-14th of March - fat lot of good that did me as I only got told about it yesterday! I emailed them anyways, being a bit cheeky and trying my luck with them maybe putting it back on my account as I didn't know! We'll see, it's nothing lost if they don't though.

I would say 'I best get on with my work' but there isn't anything to do, so I'm going to wrap the MMP bits up. Have a nice morning!

Starting to wonder if I could kill my Uncle and get away with it.
Need to calm down as I actually think I might punch him :o We do these working progress figures every month, and every month he comes in and tells me a different way to do them. Tells me all the columns, all the prices ect ect and I basically do the math and type it up for him. He's sat with the Accountant now is just picking faults with it, saying I didn't do it right and it's a 'total shambles' and 'complete bullocks' I wouldn't mind if it acutally was my work, as it would be my fault but the fact it was all his idea and he's just shifting blame is really peeing me off. Telling my Pa I'm not doing it anymore, I get the same grief each month! Like this month, he made me redo it THREE times because he kept changing his mind about figures. Hmph. Ruined my happy-payday-glow :( I have to go back into his office with the accounts books now and I think I might pop if he says anything else.

I just wanna go home and bake! ahah!

Aww Cinny :( That's so annoying! And really unprofessional of him to say things like that - does he think he can get away with it because you're family. I'd wait til the accountant's gone and go in and tell him you're not doing it anymore - you only did what he asked you to, and he belittled you in front of someone else, it's not on! I'm really angry for you :( He can do it himself if you're so useless!

Tell me more about New York to cheer yourself up :)

Thanks Tete! I'm going to have a word with my Dad about it tonight, as my Uncle has gone out but I know all I'll get is 'You know what your Uncle is like' Yes, I do, a useless bumface. Ugh! It was just the fact he did it infront of the accountant that got me, making it look like I couldn't do my job :(

I've calmed though, I get on well with the accountant and he knows how my Uncle messes around so knew it wasn't my fault. Plus we had a knatter about making bread!

As for New York, oooo! We've been planning on going after I turn 21 for years now, so it'll just be exciting to get saving *geek* We're going for 5 days, and going to attempt to cram in as much as humanly possible - Shops, Museums, Shows, Tourist stuff and trying to find as many SATC spots as possible. :D
