    'The' List:
    [STRIKE]Make Cake
Batch of Twinks Hobnobs[/STRIKE] - Decided to just steal a few from the batch I made yesterday.
[STRIKE]Raid shelves for books to sell on Amazon
Raid shelves for Dvds to sell on Amazon/MusicMagpie
    Look at Budgets[/STRIKE]*whimpers*

Made a scrummy smelling chocolate cake, looking forward to having it after tea *taps tum*
Got almost £20 coming from Musicmagpie for DVDs that were only a couple pennies off amazon. Have one I'm going to put on Amazon later with a couple books, not holding out much luck for any of them selling but it would be nice if they did!

Off to write next weeks budget up all neatly, as it's just scribbled down randomly at the moment and is pretty darn scary.

Just had a total higgle-piggle over my laptop savings. Its been a head in the sand subject for me ever since I got it, which is completely not how I handle things. But I've sat down and worked it out and it's not all bad. I'm going to put it in my sig though, to keep track.

Also broken my monthly stuff down so I can just scribble stuff away weekly. Which works out just under £18 a week, and will stop me having a flid coming up to the end of the month like I am now. OH has been totally lovely though and offered me some money towards my Laptop as it was bugging me, but I'll manage.

All the new savings lark will start errm, first payday of April so I'll post it then. Have it all written down in my little notebook so I can't lose, or more in my case, forget it.

But that's enough money for today. Off to watch the soaps and relax a little bit. Need to get my dinner ready for work tomorrow too.

    Spends for today: Zero :T

Sounds like you are getting all your budgets sorted. That is a great idea to save some each week for the monthly things so it is more equal.

Hope your day got better after the bad start.

    Morning :)

Bought a bag of things to list on Amazon to work with me today, the list on the guaranteed quiet patch we have in the afternoon. Also managed to bring a scrummy dinner to work with me, which will stop me lusting after other peoples chips or bacon sandwiches. Lots of fruit and oaty snacks to fill me up too.

Today should be another no spend day, I'm getting quite good at these!

Morning, what's the deal with the laptop then? Who do you owe the money to? Sorry if I missed something! How was the choccie cake in the end? I made a Vicky Sponge but it went a bit wrong :o

Haha sorry, I'm just spurting bits out randomly! My old laptop gave up the ghost one night so I used my parents Argos card to get a new one for the interest free period. Hope that makes sense!

The chocolate cake was lovely, nice and light! Was basically just a victoria sponge recipe with lots of baking cocoa chucked in for the batter and icing :o

Phew, glad to hear it - I worked in Argos for a while and even before my MSE days I knew their interest rates were astronomical!

Cake sounds good, I'm on the lookout for a good coffee cake recipe for Dad's birthday on Monday ... does anyone know where you can get those decorative coffee beans to go on top? I'd do walnuts but he doesn't like them. Might have to be choccie chips... I wonder if chocolate icing would work with a coffee sponge?

I don't really like coffee cake so I can't help you there Tete! Has to be the only cake I don't like :o I'd guessing chocolate icing would work though, cause dunking chocolate biscuits into coffee tastes good!

Done all my morning workload so I'm going to get on with listing my Amazon bits!
