Cinny my Grandma just text me to say she won £8 today on a small e/w bet she put on a horse that had the same name as my uncle so it does work sometimes!

Go Grandma-Tete!! I think I'll stick with my picking ways then. To be fair OH has won a bit from putting random bets on when horse names remind him of me (*cringe*) or sound like someone he knows!

Love that your Grandma texts! :D

I've only been to the races once (and I don't generally bet) but I lost about £20 making bets on horses with nice names! It was fun though! I'm fairly sure one of my horses had 3 legs but the rider was wearing pink, what was I supposed to do???

How cute is it that Grandma Tete can text?! I love old people and technology!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Haha, sounds about right Birdie :D I told OH I was putting £1 on a horse once and he said 'Is it because of the cutesy name? Because it's 66/1' Pfft! Feel bad for the horses with bad odds, I don't want them turned into glue!

I feel like a right old fart. Just made a notice for the bathroom! :rotfl: Me, my Brother & Sister take it in turn by weeks to clean our bathroom, they're a bit half hearted with it on their weeks, but they work longer hours then me so I'll step in and clean it if they're slacking. But when it's my week they leave toiletries everywhere, wet towels on the floor, don't rinse the bath out ect. I wouldn't mind if they were like, 8 or something but they're almost 22 and 25!

Might not be on tomorrow morning so I is posting my list now!

    1- Get up at 6:45am
2- Make batch of oaty biscuits
3- Write up Twinks biscuit recipe for my Great Aunt
4- Do some ironing for my Mum
    5- Pack up MMP DVDs
6- Find a jar for my spare spends pennies!

    Proper night now!

Hmm, yeah but she's never used the flippin DS I got her for her 75th birthday! I'm sure she'll give it back one day though so I'll be able to sell it haha!

That's not on about the bathroom! I don't mind cleaning but I hate the feeling that I'm cleaning up AFTER people - I went on a major housework spree last summer on the flylady thread and everything, but Dad just wasn't bothering to mop up coffee spills or anything so I stopped because I was starting to feel like Cinderella!

All done but the ironing! I did all the housework instead though, which is on the same level.

Also got a package in the post today, 4 free OPI nail vanishes from a magazine subscription I took out last month. Used one called *ahem* 'Skinny Dip'n in Lake Michigan' but gave them all to my Mum, as I don't really need them.

Ended up going to Asda though, had a massive craving for bruschetta! Spent £2.49, and I would break it down if I hadn't left the receipt at home. Craving homemade lemon juice now. I'm not pregnant before you say anything, just greedy.

Remembered I'm working all day tomorrow too, which will boost my wages a smidge next week. (Which is my birthdaaaaay! *dances*)

Been searching around for something that I can make tonight and bring to work with me tomorrow for dinner. Decided to go Weezl-style and make this. Have everything at home for it, so it's kind of free.

Made changes to my budget for next week too. OH is working all weekend *pouts* and I'm only going to see him Saturday night, so I won't need much in the way of spending money next week. Going to be a good pretend wifey and cook him tea for when he gets in. But it's just a matter of what *rubs chin* Thinking something like HM pizza and apple cake for afters. We made HM pizzas last summer a couple times and they were totally killer, yum! Will just need to go pick up some sliced meat for the pizzas, and bramley apples for the cake. Super cheap!

    List for tonight:

1- Clean Room (was on list for tomorrow, but I forgot I'm working!)
    2- Make dinner for tomorrow
3- Find place in room for the spare pennies jar
4- Make said penny jar look pretty, as it's a bit blah atm!

Not much! But enough I guess. Have a nice night everyone!
