I don't think your stash is that bad... it'll be gone before you know it as long as you remember to use it every day! I was pretty shocked too when I listed my stash - I have tons of S&G! :o

What you making your Mum for Mother's Day? I'm making fish pie (her choice!) :D

My savings thing is if I see something I want to buy, but then I decide to be good and put it back, then I put the money I would have spent in a pot. :) Your money seems to be looking very healthy at the moment!

    How's the driving going?
    Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675
    House Deposit Savings : £8,600/£25,000
    Lose 21lb : 0/21

I was going to make her a boozy stew but there's this rip and dip pizza she loves from Sainsburys so we're having one of them instead! Have my driving lesson in the morning, but finish at 11 so we're going to spend the rest of the day watching Mansfield Park I think! Be nice to spend the day with her, feels like I haven't properly seen her in ages.

The driving is going pretty well thanks Zig! I'm doing pretty well I think, we're going to the town where they do the test tomorrow. So that sounds promising!

Waiting for OH to get up! He declared he's having a duvet day, but I can hear movement. Which may be him getting up, or might just be him putting the TV on. We'll see.

Spent £10 so far today in Petrol for my car. Will update tomorrow with the rest of todays spends, once I've er.. spent them.

Have a nice Saturday - It's lovely and sunny here!
  • yay, glad you have a new thread Cinny-you seem uber organised at the minute-spread the vibes around, because theres a distinct lack of organisation in my life at the min!

i think your beauty stash sounds amazing! But yeah, it probably just seems worse because its all sitting out separate-when you remember that some of it came from big sets that you didn't pay for, its not so bad!

glad the drivings going well-i know you had a scooter before-i've always wanted a vespa or lambretta, i'm in love with them! How did you feel out on the road on them? I'm worried i'd feel really vulnerable with all the cars around etc? Are they hard to drive? I'd also be scared of buying one and think its too pretty to use, so it'd sit in my drive and i'd just polish it up and look at how pretty it is-definitely not very MSE!

ps i didn't realise Hej was swedish-i noticed you used it on some of your blog titles, and i thought it was a typo! *cringe!*

Haha, it's alright ES! But yep, it's Swedish for Hi, or something! The Vespa was really good to drive, they're actually kind of massive and heavy compaired to mopeds so you do feel pretty safe. They're really easy to drive, I had one with gears but they just make automatic ones now. You tend to get a bit more respect from car users, and if you wear pink so men on motorbikes know you're a girl you get a bit of kindness off them too! You won't just polish it and keep it looking pretty on the drive though, you'll want to be out on it all the time when it's sunny :D

    Righto, spends for yesterday:
    £10 - Petrol (mentioned above!)
    £10 - Diesel for OH
    £14.18 - Dinner
    £1.50 - Pub Game
    20p - Reduced donuts - yumm!

    Total Spend - £35.88

Not much to do today, going out after my driving lesson to get dinner then watching Mansfield Park. Think I'll come way under my £10 budget for todays shopping though. Decided any notes(ha!)/change left over from my budget at the end of the week is going to go into a change pot for extra holiday money. Doubt it'll build up to more than £30 before we go but it's still something, a tank of petrol or whatever!

I'll update again tonight with spending-ness. Have a nice Mothers Day everyone!

    Good Afternoon!

Driving lesson went really well, Mr.Carman told me he'll be more than happy to put me in for my test in about 6 weeks time. Yes! Drove over to Mr.S afterwards to get my Mum her Mothers day dinner - just pizza and garlic bread like I've said but she loved it! (simple things :D) Ended up watching Fox and the Child instead of Mansfield Park as I've had it for almost a year now, was still in its wrapping and needed to be watched!
Made Twinks Oaty biscuits for OH afterwards as he loves them, and has had a long day at work so needs a little treat!

Also updated my smelly-stuff list here as I've used a couple of the Lush bits! Almost finished a couple of the samples too. Making headway! Just hope to God no one buys me any smellies for my Birthday.

    Right, spends for the day!

    Oats - 98p
    Garlic Bread - £1.00
    Pizza - £4.79

    Total - £6.77

Have £7.35 left from my weekend budget, but going to keep it in my purse until Thursday just incase I need it. Which I might, for emergency chocolate or something!

Going to mull over next weeks budget in a bit, back to paying my Parents board so need to work my savings around that.

Well done on the driving lesson. You are learning so much quicker than I did!

You are doing well with your new budgets as well and sounds like you had a fun weekend.

    Hi!

Not in my normal jolly mood today :( My Sister is in a huff with me over something completely stupid, but if she wants to be in a mood then I can't stop her. OH just sent me a text saying the biscuits I made yesterday are nice so that's cheered me up abit!

Also thought I'd lost my new Honey Trap lipbalm over the weekend, but it was sitting on my desk at work this morning *phew*

Not many plans for today, only working until dinner time then I'm baking this afternoon. Making a cake for at home, and another batch of Twinks Biscuits to take to my Grandparents tomorrow. Hopefully a NSD, don't need or want anything so I'm good :D

Decided to do a list for today. If I don't I'll just sulk in self pity and eat jelly belly beans (OH found bags of deformed ones for £1, they're better than broken biscuits!) Going to get a bit of money making going, as I honestly don't have anything better to do.

Craving potted beef and ketchup sandwiches though - can you tell I eat at my Grandparents alot?! Reminds me, need to ring my Grandpa up and see if he wants any help this week!

    'The' List:
    Make Cake
    Batch of Twinks Hobnobs
Raid shelves for books to sell on Amazon
Raid shelves for Dvds to sell on Amazon/MusicMagpie
    Look at Budgets

    Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

Ooh and all the calories will have been bashed out of them too ;)

Yep stay positive, you can't change how your sis is behaving so maybe give her a bit of a wide berth until she sorts herself out and concentrate on yourself :)

You know what, I bet they have! They'll be basically calorie-less. Tbf though, when I was stuffing my face last night the last thing I was thinking about was calories. :o

I wouldn't mind how my Sister is being if it wasn't over something so silly. Ho-hum! I won't depress my lovely new thread with it :D This is a mental Sister free zone!
