Oo, it sounds good when you put it like that Tete!! Want to get a head start and have a nice chunk to surprise OH when we properly start saving for our own place next year.

People were saying if you have other UD Palettes than the Alice in Wonderland one would be a let down as it's just old colours rebranded! Looks like it's £30 into the MOF :D (Or £28, by Debenhams prices!)

My Grandpops gave me £20 for today, I declined it about 3 times but no! Have £30 in my Purse now, and tomorrows cinema plans with my Mum have been cancelled so I'll have to re-think my budget in the morning. Things will be looking a bit more sparkly though!

The new budget sounds great and the house deposit looks like it is coming along nicely!

That is strange about the money being refunded.

I am pretty lucky, I have a great relationship with my Grandparents. I've always completely doted on them both!
I'm looking forward to seeing my new budgeting plan too! :D Set my alarm a smidge earlier than normal again so I can sort it all before work. So schleepy.

Hej! (Bit of Swedish there for you *wiggles nose*)

Got paid £10 more than I planned today, and have an un-budgeted £30 in my purse so I'm feeling pretty flush!

Moved £96 into savings this morning too, which included £30 into the holiday pot and £30 into the house savings. Still have £65 'free' money in my account (I try to keep a £50 float) + the £30 in my purse but I'm just going to give myself £50 spending money this week as I have something nearing £85 of bills coming out in the next fortnight which I need to build up some pennies to cover. Hmph!

    The £50 breaks down into:
£20 - Day out with Rich tomorrow.
£10 - To buy food to cook my Mum dinner on Sunday + Chocolate for my Sister
£10 - Diesel money for Rich
£10 - Petrol money for moi!

Haven't given myself any money, but I don't need anything so should be fine.

Got the afternoon free now, so I've talked one of my parental figures into thinking sitting in a car while I drive around aimlessly is a good idea. Also going to collect all my toiletries ect and make a list of them all, I know it's going to be as long as a giants arm and quite embrassing so I'll post it on here to guilt me into not buying anything else. I have way too much!

Oh beans, I forgot! The spending on my credit card has balanced and they owe me something like £1.29 which is novel! Will be ringing them up to cancel my account this afternoon too, then taking great pleasure in cutting the card up.

Oooh good morning Little Miss Moneybags :D Love all the free money, send some of your luck in my direction!

Isnt that your Tesco 0% card, when does the 0% run out? Would it be worth keeping it incase of emergencies? Lol i'd be cutting mine up too, but i have a feeling i wont be able to pay it off before the 0% runs out (September!)

Trying to channel my luck Lulu! You've got about 6 months left on your 0% though, right?

The 0% is until ermm, May I think! When I got it the idea was it would just be for when booking holidays for the security - but I won't be booking anymore holidays till later in the year so I'll be after another 0% card then. Plus I can dip into my savings if an emergency waddles its way into my life. Best cancelling the account while it's in my head!

Emergencies don't waddle Cinny they storm about! Made me laugh though!

You sound very on top of things it's good to hear and has inspired me to check my bank account :) Sometimes I wish I was paid weekly so I could re-budget more often :o

I had a feeling that some of the colours in the UD thing were just old ones! The scamps! Yes I should move some money over to the MOF... but I did see some skinny jeans at the weekend for £25 ... (How mad is that that you can buy a pair of jeans for less than some eyeshadows?!) I wasn't sure in the shop, they looked OK but felt a bit funny, felt quite tight around my knees but don't know if that was just because I'm not used to them, what the general concensus on skinnines?
