If it helps, i'd be willing to take the American Cream and Sympathy for the Skin off your hands, but you know...only if it helps :rotfl:

Cinny, you might as well join in the challenge for funsies, if you reviewed everything on that list you'd whoop the rest of us! :D Putting my latest review on now...

IN fairness Cinny I can see a lot of the S&G stuff is from the hatbox and I'm a bit the same at the moment with lots of S&G floating about! What's the Naked scrub like? I LOVE their shampoo!

Birdie, that's EXACTLY what I do, three hours later I look up and realise I'm sitting in the middle of the floor/bed surrounded by rubbish and it's midnight!

Yep, a lot was from the hat box Tete (my Brother got me it for Christmas!) and OH got me some Soap and Glory giftsets for Christmas too. The naked scrub is great, although you end up with a bag of rice at the bottom of your bath after using it. I got it free from Beauty Judge!

I can't part with the American Cream Lulu, I love it too much! :D I can wing the lotion your way though if you want? It's only about a tablespoon of product though!

Off to have a bath in an attempt to use a smidge of the stuff up. It looks so scary put in a list like that!

:DSuppose i should use my bottle and my collection of stuff before i start scrounging off other people :rotfl:

It's gonna take alot more than one bath! Haha, i bet you smell pretty all the time! I'd keep things and stick them in hampers at christmas :D

Good idea, just don't do what I tend to do which is get distracted by some long lost toy/book/gadget etc and spend ages playing with it and somehow end up with more rubbish lying around than when you started!

Phew, I'm normal then! I've been through the same boxes several times in the vain hope of emptying them - it's very gradual ruthlessness :D but better than none at all I supppose.

Hey Cinny! Glad you're back on track  I've started a spending diary this month too, so I can rein myself in a bit.

Um, this is a lot, but not overly worrying! You'll use it all... at some point... It's very satisfying to finish things up, so why not have a mini-challenge like Zig's (I think) where you set aside money you'd otherwise have spent IYSWIM? So, if you're ready for a new shampoo, you use one you've already got and put £3/4 in a pot to reward yourself at some point in the future :D

    Okay, I think I have a problem...
Looking over it all, I was given more than what I bought, but I've put the things I bought myself in bold. This is what happens when people know you like bath stuff, and the curse of BOGOF offers!

Oh, and the reason I popped over here in the first place was to seek advice from you domestic goddesses!

If I want to make individual cupcakes from a big cake recipe, is there a rule of thumb about time in the oven? It should only take 20-25 mins for an 8" tin...

    Thanks xx

Not sure Poddle, it's less time for small cakes, I'd check them after about 15 mins and keep an eye on them, you know the rule about prodding them and seeing if they bounce back? That's the most useful thing I've learnt since starting baking! Ooh, what are you making??

Thanks Tete, prodding and finger crossing it is! I'm making coffee and walnut cake in miniature to put in a tin I bought my mum for mother's day - it's her fave :) But not my thing at all, which is good as I won't eat so much batter I feel a little sick..

I was gonna say the same Poddle, just watch and poke! :D & Yeah, I think it is Zig that does that with savings! Sounds like a good idea, although I think it might be ages before I run out of anything!

I'd like to think I smell lovely all the time Lulu! OH says I mix too much stuff together sometimes, but then I just smell all types of lovely!

Not such good times in the Cinny household - Our washing machine has broken! My Dad has rushed out to get another before everywhere closes. Uh-oh!
