People should be aware that the latest bank's idea to to stop all low cost transactions...

My card was stopped because of a booking fee i had to pay for Scottish City Link...I understand fraud but i wasn't impressed when an automtaed line kept calling me saying their was fraudlent activity on my card...When i rang the bank directly it said they had to do it that way as they were so busy at the moment...

So that mya be why so many people's have been stopped.


Mine says code coming via email but nothing yet and i had also read it was coming by post...

Hmm, I bought a £1 Cineworld ticket by Maestro just after midnight and my card details were all accepted, including my bank's online security doublecheck... Then got an email this afternoon saying there had been problems processing my payment, so I have missed out.

Hmm, wonder if this happened to a lot of other people? If I entered my card details wrongly I'd expect the payment not to go through at the time, so rather disappointed by this!

One of the Costa deals did not go through, the other did and I'm awaiting the card, but the 4 days is not yet up, that deal was ten days ago.

As i said in a previous post for those experiencing non payment check with your bank as they are the ones cracking down on low payments...

My latest one has been cancelled despite the 1.00 pending on my account! Oh well my own fault used the same card twice and had to re order! Will wait and see what happens to the one I ordered this am!:rotfl:

Yes, I was red faced in Sainsburys when my card was refused and then I had not enough cash on me, my bank had actually stopped my card completely as they had a few £0.25 transactions from the body shop!:o
