If they have marked £3 it must have gone through ok :) Although they will not charge the card until it is confirmed a deal will run. A bit like Tesco mark £2, or whatever it is, when you shop online and then charge the correct amount before delivery :)

I dont Understand that as £3 has just been Taken out of Account so does that mean that another £3 will be taken in next few days?

When I log into My account it says'you still haven't bought a deal yet" but I have a confirmation e mail. Anyone else had this problem. I did another email address at the same time and it's showing the deal when i log in:(

Just booked 2 tickets and paid via paypal used 2 different names, emails and addresses but had to pay using same paypal account so hope this counts under their rules! now just have to wait and see what happens i guess.

You will just make £3 payment.

Say I did a Tesco order for £62.50
Tesco mark the card £2. My bank balance shows £102.46 but available to spend £100.46
This is so they have all the details and the card can be billed at the correct amount on the day, as some stock may not be available or a different price etc

Before delivery they check out my order at £62.50(all there for a change)
    The unmark the £2

I am only charged the correct amount, but am not able to use the £2 from ordering till booking, if I needed to.

So MyCityDeals would I presume follow this too as they need to check your card is correct, but can not charge you until the deal is confirmed. If the deal does not go through the £3 is unmarked, if it does it is unmarked and your card is charged the £3

HTH and does not confuse :)

    Highlights

    • Cineworld has 77 cinemas and 790 screens stretching from Aberdeen to Jersey and Ipswich to Bristol
    • Offer includes all “multiplex” sites, “digital” sites and any 3D screens in the UK
    • Largest exhibitor of Bollywood films in the UK

    Fine Print

    • This offer is strictly restricted to one voucher per person - MULTIPLE TRANSACTIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED
    • Voucher will NOT arrive via email, it will arrive in the post 7 working days after deal closes
    • Vouchers are valid until Sunday 25th April 2010
It looks like the tickets, regardless of which city you are looking at, are useable at ALL the Cineworld cinemas. And it does state that it is one voucher per person - so there is a fair chance that if you try to simply order 2 or more using the same details, it will not be processed. To be in with a shot at getting 2 or more, you will need to use different names, etc, I suspect.

No idea. But I have three linked email addresses on my papal. My main one which was for ebay, then two others I used when other people paid me. I did this a good few years ago, but should imagine you can still do this? May be worth setting up if you use them in the future?
  • It states on the website only 1 ticket per person, not 1 per household, so is there any point in putting a different address.... You can have more than 1 person at the same address. Maybe I'm wrong and its per house but that would seem a bit silly.

I had exactly the same message/emails and figured it was because I had used two different emails but only one credit card. I logged in on the second email and used a different card and it now shows up on my account.

I have done with 3 Diff e mail addresses and also 3 Diff Names as there are 3 people that live in the same house.
