    Hi all,

    I'm not getting married in December but I am having my marriage blessed/renewal of vows. It's our 10th anniversary in September and our original wedding was such a disaster that we both get very upset talking about it - we promised ourselves we'd do something special for our 10th anniversary and it's finally nearly here!

    I'm so excited I can't wait. It's taking place on the 11th December!

    I had my 7th baby in January this year though and really need to lose the baby weight. I'm also a bit nervous as I've seen the dress I'd really love but it's on Ebay from China and my experience of buying clothes direct from China has never been a good one... :-/ I'm considering taking the photo's to a seamstress and getting them to make a replica but don't know what sort of cost that would involve...

    Thanks for the welcome! It's very much like a wedding I suppose, but just renewing our vows. We're thinking of either a purple and black theme or a purple and white theme but we can't decide... So were going to go with whatever type of dress I found.

    I found this one on Ebay but it's from China and I've just not had good luck with buying directly from China. I've had 5 dresses from China so far, three fell apart the first time they were worn (literally!) and two were drastically the wrong size. I was wondering about taking the photo to a seamstress, but I have a feeling that would cost an absolute fortune... Here's the dress I liked;

    Grrr... I just tried to post it but apparently I'm not allowed as a new user... I'll post it once I've got a few more posts under my belt!!!

    And yep, that was the number 7 children wise!!! LOL We had four boys, then two girls and recently had our fifth boy... Feeling pretty done now though so not sure that there will be an 8th in the future! :p I'm trying to shift the baby flab using one of those ab cruncher thingies and my crosstrainer... I eat relatively healthily anyway but just need to tone up a bit.

    Only things that I could think of are flowers, shoes or thank you gifts.

    Sounds like you are all planned!

    I know it's bad to wish the summer away but I can't wait for December to get here! x
