gemmzie it depends how many photos youll have and how long the ceremony lasts, find out off the registrar then think about what pics you want then youll be able to say what time it can start

Also think about travel time if there is any involved.

Thanks, there isn't any. Getting married at the hotel, beach is literally behind it and meal is at hotel :)

We wanted a small gap between meal and going to the marquee (a short distance away) for afternoon/evening so people could return to their rooms and freshen up/nap!

We have £100 in wedding car vouchers and I don't think we're going to end up using them!

when i said that i did wonder about having a ride around town in a posh car before the photos but i dont really want to do it 'cos of the money but you could do it if youve got vouchers
itd be nice for just the two of you to get whisked away maybe with some bubbly for half hour or so
if you werent at the hotel youd do it anyway

I went to look at a car last week that was one of only 180 ever made and has been imported, it is so gorgeous, just trying to re work the budget to see if I can have it, it's only £295 but if I get their party bus to get the guests from the meal to the reception I get a bargain for the two - not sure what the deal is, haven't dared asked in case I can't have them :rotfl:
  • Not sure if its already been posted but spotted this article in last weeks metro http://www.metro.co.uk/news/832563-wedding-couples-should-celebrate-bogus-birthday-for-lower-prices advising to book your wedding venue/ hair etc, but under the guise its a birthday / party etc as can make huge savings. Not sure if I would worry too much about being 'found out' though!! Tempting though!
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:

lexxi i had to ask the venue to quote me before we went to have a look so i wouldnt fall in love then get let down!

kitten i couldnt do it as id feel guilty but i might ask them why the prices are so different just for a different occasion and ask if i could have the cheaper quote
luckily my friend is really good at applying make up so shes doing that and h2b's aunty is a hairdresser so im hoping she can do my hair
