Does anyone know if there is a charge to change the name on your passport? I have a horrible feeling it's basially paying £78 or so for a whole new passport.

What is up with venues not having any disabled facilities?!

Sorry about just bursting in like this and posting this but everywhere I've looked at in my budget doesn't have a disabled toilet for the members of my family who need one........not a happy bride to be at the moment!!

I thought public places had to have disabled access/facilites nder the DDA legislation?
We once ran a pub where someone had spent thousands converting a room and installing a disabled toilet and one of those electric drainage pumps and whichever way you went there were steps to get to it :rotfl:

Where are you and what's your budget?

That is a problem that my family have had before.....rang a restaurant about disabled facilities, was told there was a toilet and not to worry.....found out that the toilet was up 2 stairs which is very hard in a wheelchair!!

I thought places had to have a disabled toilet as well. Place I was looking at (won't name names) said the access isn't a problem, just no toilet!

Am in Nuneaton and looking to spend £100-200ish. Looking to stay within Nuneaton and we are catering ourselves I think....unless we can get a good deal. There will be 50 of us so we don't need anywhere big

Try putting your postcode into google or the postcode of where you are getting married and work outwards, google usually has names of places - I found the local cricket culb which I'd not even thought of for our evening, only £100 and we can use their kitchen too. Or go for a drive round.
You can create a list then and go through the list phoning places, asking if you can private hire, do your own catering, disabled access and how many does the room hold?
Are you wanting a private room?
