  • I'll be honest - I tried on a Maggie which I liked, and still like, but it didn't look right on me. I can't remember which one it was though!

Goldsmiths for rings so what's that all about then?? Can you use tesco vouchers in part payment??

Nunny, your post could have been from me. I work 9-5 and my partner works in a bar. We have only been engaged a month but all booked for July 2011 and I keep going from ridiculously excited to overwhelmed.....oh and every single morning I say I will do those "must do" jobs that night....and it gets to night and then.....well put it this way, I am here!!

LegalBlonde, I'm exactly like that, every night I say I'm going to try and get something done and College work takes over. I've got 3 exams this week, luckily 2 of them were today and the worst on is Thursday morning, but one they're done I only have another 3 days and I am off for 10 weeks and I can get on with planning things properly =)

Hello everyone. :wave:Wondering if I could join you lovely people

Getting married on 11th June 2011 and I'm feeling a little swamped at the moment!

Studying full time at college and trying to plan a wedding is making me feel down and it shouldn't be!:(:(:(

H2B works 2-10 everyday and by the time I see him when he gets back the last thing he wants to do is talk about getting married.

Has anyone else felt like this?

We haven't even set the date yet but the h2b isn't very willing to talk about the wedding either, he just keeps saying we will organise it next year, but me being slightly neurotic and liking to plan things to minute detail far ahead means we clash a little, though after mini rants we kinda see the funny side and make up, just don't let it stress you out and wait until he is ready to talk, just gently nudge him where possible :p

  • thanks for the big reply bubbles0169, is very reassuring to my frazzled nerves! Good idea to watch out in sales too, I do stalk poundland on a regular basis! The h2b told me yesterday that he still wants to get married somewhere sunny abroad but am in two minds as really want my friends and family there and not all of them could come. So many decisions lol!! xx

Hi again all. Well the wedding organiser apologised profusely for calling my OH by the wrong name and assured me that booking the day after the one we wanted was purely so that we had it if we wanted it, i.e. no obligation. So I'm satisfied. I'll have to change the chapel if I want the date I want, or change the day and date to get the chapel I want!!

And I've heard nothing more about the designer of my dress, but my mum has found a label that says 'Made in China' inside which has peeved me slightly - I do hope I haven't bought a copy for £400!! Any ideas anyone?
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

Is this the one that the label was cut out of? It is a bit weird they would do that, I went trying some dresses on and they wrote down the make and price for me, I didn't buy that dress in the end but they were so helpful.

I know it's not wedding related but can you send lots of positive vibes, OH has an interview tomorrow for a great job which means we'd be able to move a bit closer to our parents and also to the wedding venues, I'm so nervous/excited for him I want to cry but I'm trying to be helpful, the only example question I can think of is what will you bring to this job
