    Aaaaaaaaand realx....!

    Venue booked :D

It's a lovely converted farm with a pretty garden & summer house for outdoor ceremonies. The farm grows almost all of their own produce which is served in the meal. And there's a lovely tudor barn for the reception & on standby if the outdoor ceremony can't be done. :)

So nice to have that sorted :)

Thanks bubbles :D I've looked in Debenhams but i'm a size 9 (proper size 9, 43 not 42, lol) so no good for me. I'm after between a 2 and 3 inch heel in light ivory. Going shopping Monday to a bigger town, well small city, so if i don't come back with some i don't know what i'll do, probably paint my work shoes white :rotfl:

I can say that the stress level temporarily go down after you book the venue because then you realise that you've just got everything else left to do so it goes back up lol :)

Going wedding dress shopping in June, got exams at the end of May so having a little break from wedding planning but still having loads of thoughts and ideas in the meantime.
    I :heart2: saving money

Rainbowdrops - the venue sounds amazing! Love the fact that they grow their own produce :)
Next task for us is a band and a photographer................not sure where I left my enthusiasm for plannning but it is definitely missing this week! Sure it's got nothing to do with my brother not turning up at my engagement party and not making any attempt to get in touch or acknowledge the fact that I'm getting married  Not quite sure what to do next, he fell out with my sisters and now won't speak to me because he isn't speaking to them..........no he's not 12.........he's 44!! I'm totally torn between leaving him be and saying it's his loss and really wanting to get things resolved - he's not even met my fiance. Think I moight just bury me head in the sand for a while and think about nice stuff like shoes and flowers!

louba if you feel you can lie low and not worry about it the whole time then do but it might make you feel better to ask him why he cant talk to you anymore
do you feel hes got a justifiable reason not to talk to them or is he just pig headed?
if its the latter and he still doesnt talk after youve had a word, i wouldnt waste my energy to be honest x
