Good luck with the venue RainbowDrops! Comparing everything was making my head hurt so in the end we wnet for the place we loved and tried to get them to reduce the price a bit.

Thanks - I have a right headache with the stress!

  • All right Ladies!

We did it, so probably won't be on here much any more! The roadworks had moved down the road on the day so it was fine. See the Caribbean wedding thread for some pics. We had a gorgeous day, best weather of the year so far, and apart from the guests who couldn't make it everything was perfect.

I wish you all the best with your planning. Enjoy your days, I certainly did!

aah thanks raspa and glad you had a near perfect day
will be sad to see you go though, maybe you could pop back to give a few tips sometime:)
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p
  • Congratulations, Raspabarbas!

After we booked our venue, we did nothing for months and months. I don't plan on getting at all stressed... Most decisions have already been made, so we know how much we need to save. I do worry, though, that I'll regret planning so early and not enjoy the immediate buildup and I'll be too laid back!

We are having major venue dilemmas so after it's booked we are switching off until july at the earliest!
Gotta see two more places before we decide.

    Good luck!
I'm getting more and more confused with our two choices, was hoping it would be a clear cut choice :rotfl:
At least we've managed to get loads of information on both places, so we'll be able to make an informed chocie.

It's just the going through all this info that's doing me nut!

We've seen two properly with appointments, so want to see a marquee venue and a second beach-side hotel for balance.
