Tuesday next week will be 1 year to go for me.
We can then pay the registrar the remaining balance, and the 'do' is being held in the back garden.
one of my friends runs this.. so thats probably the bouquet done
I've seen her work for myself and i was very impressed.
The problem i have is the dress. Have tried some on and realised that the Grecian stlye suits me, i am no so much pear shape more apple.
Another friend is a very good dressmaker and we are looking at me getting a Basque and she will make a skirt to go with it, nice and long and flowing..
The basque needs to be longer than usual as i have a bit of a belly and want to hide all that..
I'm a 14/16 and not sure what size i need really getting me down as lots of lovely ones on the net but for something so important £100 for a basque that doesn't fit is not something i can afford to do.
The skirt colour we are looking at is aubergine, and creamish basque.
not doing white.. been married before0 -
cant you just get your friend to make you a lovely grecian style one instead then? this could be in an aubergine colour with ivory detailingI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

its a very MSE one with out the naff photos that you tend to get with the cheaper photographers(not all but some!):money:
ive trawled nearly a hundred but narrowed it down to one that was under budget but didnt woo me and one just over budget that did but i was idly looking at facebook when an advert popped up for one who fits in our budget and provides all photos on a disc for us to use as we wish:D
Yayyy! Well done bubbles!
This also happened to me with our cake after being let down by our initial cake maker. Facebook is good for something!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
yeah it is isnt it! i just wish i could trun off the adverts for photgraphers nowthough and specify what id like to see, its a bit annoying that way!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

It is! I kept getting adverts for baby stuff - no idea why?!!
how are you getting on with the rest of your plans?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
well ive been planning it in my head for years! wrote alot of stuff in a project book but apart from that i cant do anything else
i booked the venue last year, pencilled registrar in, now got photographer. because its still quite away away thats all i can do really
im itching to try dresses on again though, ive missed the last few weeks as either im not available or my MOH isnt, ive only got 28 weekends left before i want to order it!
my mum said shed pay for it(not really happy about it and ill probably pay £500 which is my budget) so i can get a new dress made for me, this will need 6 months to make plus two months for alterations and then a month before wedding!
i might just go on my own! hurumph!! lol!!I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
