Welcome thirdbar, and congratulations to you and Beardy!! :j:j

I love the ideas you've got so far - sage green is beautiful, and will go really well with a celtic-y theme. My H2B is half-Irish so we will throw some celtic inspiration/Irish wedding traditions in somewhere too...!

Guest lists are a nightmare - we've just estimated the numbers, based on the people who HAVE to be there and what we can afford, with a little contingency for expansion of families and social circles! The definite list probably won't be done for another year (for 1st Sep 2012)

Definitely come and squee/do virtual happy dances whenever you like - that's why we're here! :D

BTW, I'm still adjusting to being grown up now, and I'm almost the wrong side of 30 :rotfl:

Bubbles, sorry about your neck, I hope it gets better soon so that you can return to your normal :D-ing self :) *EDIT* hmm, that looks like I'm swearing, but you know what I mean I hope...

  • your may 2011 date is so soon, clearing_out_my_pockets, you're on the home stretch now!! :D i know it's going to go so quickly - it definitely doesn't seem like 5 years since we got together, so another 2/3 years is presumably going to woosh by too!

    It's scarily close

I've known OH for coming up 12 years (childhood sweethearts who drifted apart as young adults) and been 'back' with him for almost 4 so we just want to be married now! Before the invites went out everything was fun but now we've got family arguments about who's been invited, people not replying to invites and the suppliers want paying. I can't wait for it to be over with now!

  • I'm likely to be keeping this thread running by the way as the May 2011 thread seems a bit quiet compared to some of the other monthly threads. As long as you lot don't mind keeping me [STRIKE]sane[/STRIKE] company :rotfl:

I just got my bridesmaid's favours/gifts today - eeek, they are so pretty and perfect. I can't show anyone though as OH isn't really jewellery interested and obviously I can't show the girls yet!
