same here Angie, only place refused is self serve fuel pump at Asda. I don't have any other cards, so I am a little worried now! Perhaps cash is king after all

Mine starts with 4508 and the only place I haven't been able to use it is Tesco Online for my grocery shopping and yet I have used it online at Tesco to buy cd's and books, so I am at a loss to understand Tesco's system.

This problem is due to certain retailers being slow to update their BIN database
(bank identification number) once they get their proverbial fingers out of you know where, there should not be a problem.

Yea but thats the odd thing why does Tesco accept my Co-op Visa debit on-line for cd's,dvd's & books but refuse me when I want to buy sausages on-line? I can't believe that they have 3 completely different systems but then again it's Tesco's so who knows!!

Iv'e tried dojoman and all you get is load of waffle about the on-line grocery system being set up when the electron card had to be seen at point of purchase and they intend to update their system but they don't know when! As I said waffle!

I agree with madmonk - no point in asking Tesco as you will get an 'automated' reply.

Used it in M&S store, Primark, Tescos loads of places.

Only done online with Amazon and couple of others but again no probs at all.
I've tried it in Primark but it's refused, and money on it too!

I've used mine at Primark, my only refusal has been at self-service ticket machines at rail stations. Northern Rail won't reply to my emails on the subject.
