it is fine instore, I haven't tried online.

You may have trouble paying for train tickets as well, I am currently erm, discussing this with Trans Pennine Express. They are looking into it.

I had the same experience - strangely it was OK when shopping instore at M&S, but not on line.
However, by chance (as my original debit card was getting a bit tatty ) I recently discovered that the Co-Op is now issuing all new/& replacement debit cards in the more widely accepted version of Visa.

Give the Co-Op a ring & they should be able to issue a (new-style) duplicate within a week :-)

Mine is the Visa card, works fine in store at M&S but not online. As they didn't have what I wanted in the store, I had to buy a voucher in store (using my card) then use the voucher to order online!

Tried my co op Visa debit and it's a No-no at Primark:mad: Why don't they update their systems (Primark) Had to get out another card as no pennies on me!

Thats odd cos I used my co-op debit card at Primark only 1 month ago with no problem!

Remember as others have said its the cards that start "4508" that seem to be an issue with refusal

I have co op visa debit starting with 4508 since Aug 09 and never had it refused anywhere yet.

Used it in M&S store, Primark, Tescos loads of places.

Only done online with Amazon and couple of others but again no probs at all.
