If so, I can see no way of signing up online yet. I also registered an interest, and haven't heard a thing, whether by phone, email, text...

In the last week I received 3 calls from numbers in Manchester area, the 3 hanged up on me.
Today another call, this time 0800, coming as well from the Manchester calling center of O2. I dont have a BT landline so I can't get O2 home Phone yet, but the guy told me to call them back in case I decide to get a BT landline and take up their offer.

I guess they will call you soon.

Edit: I told him their website was not up to date.. they know!

I signed up for O2 Home Phone this morning, by ringing 0800 230 0202.

I registered an interest, but was not contacted. An in-law my son put on Access was, so I knew about the launch.

They check you are a Broadband customer.

If you leave O2 Broadband, you have to leave the phone service.
12 month contract, then 30 days notice. If you leave during the first 12 months, you are liable for the remainder of the rental.

Similar costs to other providers. 0844/0871 not covered by anytime package.
18185 allowed, with ambiguous clause about 'abuse leading to termination' in literature. No reference to third party carriers in T and Cs.

Support appears to be in Scotland. Billing monthly, with Broadband charge.

Staff all new and inexperienced, but competent.

Now for the calls from BT...

What other other providers charge nearly 100% more to call 0844/0871 numbers. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2417939

Have you got it in writing that indirect access via 18185 is allowed bearing in mind its a llu service.
