Hi Guys,
Hardly ever use a train, so a bit of a chump in this area, basically we need to get to Wembly Central by 3ish on saturday from Norwich - I have used trainline and the cheapest I can see is £30 for 2 return tickets which seems reasonble, but our end destination is close to wembly Park tube station, so seems we will need to catch the tube from Wembly central to Wembly park tube - are there any better deals or discount codes that anyone could help me with?
If I were you I would get Metropolitan Line tube from Liverpool Street to Wembley Park. May need to change at Baket Street.
A one day off peak travelcard from Norwich will get you to Liverpool Street and cover all tube and buses in London.
At £49.70, it may be more than you want to pay, but it does give you full flexibility... allowing you to travel on any train between Norwich and London that day.
Oh, and avoid thetrainline and avoid their fees.0 -
No easy connection between Wembley Central and Wembley Park stations except walking.

Forget this.. If your ticket includes the underground then just go to Marylebone on the tube and then the train direct to Wembley stadium its a lot closer then both the tube stations and they put on specials which leave every 15 mins for events at wembley stadium and maybe a big night at the arena"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

Broadpaws clearly told us......our end destination is close to wembly Park tube station...0 -
But the point that you seem to have failed to grasp is that East Coast Trains do not always charge delivery fees, even if they provide delivery.
If there is no collection facility available, then no delivery fee is charged.
And here is the link.
Yes but i was looking at the journey th e OP asked for not for what you may want then to think to look for.
As for your last post i mis-read about the wembley trip but we dont know where the wembley end is really do we? or did i miss something? because stadium is closer to a lot more hotels then park or central is"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

Derby to Leeds Anytime return £39.50 each
Derby to Sheffield Anytime Day return £18.20
Sheffield to Leeds Anytime Day return (not via Doncaster) £11.40
Total return £29.60 Each
You could make it cheaper by travelling after 09:30 and getting Off Peak day Returns or a mixture of both ie a peak train to Sheffield and then a Off Peak train to Leeds (First one 09:51)Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
