  • If anyone can help me I need a return train from Leicester to Hall green (bham) on 11 Feb 2011 at 4.30pm and then return on saturday 12 feb 2011 at around 5pm ish ish?
Passengers: around 10? but need to know how much it will be each?
cheapest I've found is £15.20 return off peak? Can anyone find anything cheaper or got a promotional code for any of the train websites? will be thanked..
    Thanks a lot :)

That's probably the best fare you will find.
Maybe save 20-30p but lose the flexibility.

If you have 10 or more people, consider contacting Cross Country Trains about Group Booking.

Me and two mates are looking to go from Falkirk to Leeds on Sat 5th Feb (early morning) and return on Sunday 6th Feb. The best deal I have found so far is £53.40 (per person) with East Coast Trains and thats based on 3 people travelling.

    Anyone know any better deals.
  • Posted a separate thread but guess it is relevant to in here.

First TransPennine Express are having a 'January Sale' with 25% off their Advance tickets. Purchase 04/01/11 until 31/01/11, for travel up until 31/03/11.

Routes across the north of England, as well as Manchester - Scotland services (via Carlisle).

    Details at http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/sale

Not sure if this is the right place to post. I'm looking to go to London from Leeds at some point in the next month... preferably leaving on a friday and returning either sunday night or monday morning. What is the best website to purchase tickets from? Ideally like to spend around £15 on a coach or upto £25/30 on a train.
    Thanks

Buy online from EastCoastTrains and get 10% off their Advance Single tickets.

You may struggle to get below £30 though.
    Bit short notice for February.

    What have you found?

I've found £45 on there but I'm not sure if that includes the 10% off? does it come off automatically or do you need a code?

I'm pretty sure the quote is with the 10% off. If not it will come off automatically when you get to the payment page and before you commit to buying. There is no code.

If I recall, the advance promo fares are in red and have an asterix.
