Having read the t and cs I'm not sure whether there are paper tokens you need in addition to the password.
Thanks.
Having searched a few other forums have found this;
'Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance, online only, but you need to take a voucher from the newspaper when travelling. One voucher is valid for up to 4 passengers, another voucher will be required for more than 4. Maximum of 8 people per booking transaction.'
Again this is from another forum so I could be wrong.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know of a way of getting this return below £50? 4 adults, travelling on the 2nd (leaving by 2 at the latest) and back on the 4th (leaving by 4 or 5 at the latest)
Thanks!0 -
Would help if I mentioned the month... February0

The downside is that they are only available on London Midland Trains so will take longer than Virgin... over three hours each way... needs a change of train.0 -
Plenty of Advance Singles on those dates/times at £11 per person each way.

Hi,
Sorry if I'm being dense, but the cheapest I can find on the London Midland website, purely searching for London to Liverpool is £216 for four. I would assume that if it was £11 each way, I should be able to see an £88 fare?
Thanks!0 -

Once you have done your search there is a box 'show other routes'. Click it and there is an option of London Midland trains only. Two options actually - I think both work
There's also a £98 (total) walk on fare return fare on some LM trains0 -
Don't forget, London Midland do Groupsave (4 for the price of 2) - so that would be £49 for a return for 4 people - buy on the day.sorry no links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20

How about £20 return?!
Megabus.com does cheap train tickets Mon-Thurs - they're still on the regular Virgin trains and totally direct, I've got them from Liverpool a few times.
For the 2nd Feb you can get a seat on 13:48 Virgin train from Liverpool for £9, arriving in Euston at 15:56 so £36 for the four of you one way.
For the 4th Feb, the cheapest direct train on thetrainline.com is the 12:07 from Euston, for £30.50.
So that'll work out £39.50 return each.
If you wanted to go even cheaper, and didn't mind making one change on your way back, you can leave Euston at 11:46 and pay only £11. When you do a normal search, click the link near the bottom which says there may be cheaper fares on slower routes. Chose the £11 advance single.
So there and back for £20! Bargain or what.0 -
Can anyone help me with finding tickets. I want to get from London to Newcastle, depart February 4th around 10AM and return on the 5th 5pm.
Any help would much appreciated. Thanks0
