I can never understand why people comment on such things.
We were at my friends once and she commented that we 'had a lot of clutter'
I wouldn't dream of saying anything like that to anyone but I guess some people are just like that!

Right, I think I've proved my point - 11 parcels wrapped off to bed now

as I wrote that Jack started crying - he's only been down 30minutes! Don't tell me the Nurofen's worn off that normally lasts a good few hours! :(

He sells on your account, doesn't he? If not, I'd have been tempted to label a few of them up wrong and let his feedback suffer :p (mind you, that might be shooting yourself in the foot for getting clear of more of it!)

No, I wouldn't say anything.. in fact, I don't think I particularly notice. I'm not un-observant, but if I wasn't invited to walk over to the window and look out at the back garden, I wouldn't do it, let alone do it and comment on it (another moment from Monday ).

Hope Jack settles for you soon :) Nighty night xx

Morning all. Only read this page so far but (((hugs))) Glam and Sugar. Glam hope you are not too tired today.

Sugar I feel a little bit the same about Alfie's birth, having to go to hospital, have the spinal block then have the turning and delivery by forceps, and I feel as htough I missed out on feeling him come out and of being able to do it all myself. I know it's not quite the same as a section though.

Well as predicted yesterday we are up even earlier today. Really hope it's not earlier again 6.15am is too early as it is :(

Skimmed a few pages last night but off to catch up now.

Thanks Aless and Tara yes according to DH there are different channels for the doorbell so he's going to change it today (I didn't know as I never looked at it!!)

((hugs)) Glam, I think the OHs get fed up of having the baby fairly quickly. DH is only just revelling in it though as Caitlyn has never stayed with him so he feels a bit honoured! But when he wants to do something or go in the garage I get her handed back *rolleyes*. It's as if they don't think they're jointly responsible for looking after them as well as making them!

For the last 2 nights Caitlyn has slept all the way through! We've always had a good nights sleep because she doesn't fully wake, she just stirs - latches on - then back off to sleep. But these last 2 nights she hasn't even stirred, just hope it carries on!

Off to baby group this morning (after Tesco to fetch the blinds I bought in the sale that DH doesn't know about!) then going to the CMs this afternoon. Not holding out much hope for a big change any time soon, I sat her on the rug yesterday about 2 feet away from me and she cried - it's not a sad cry it's a temper cry that wants you to feel sorry for her.

Right off to get DS ready, we have to be out of the house just after 8 on a Wednesday as DSD stays over and we take her to school.

    Catch you all later xx

Having said that Alice and I were Kanga and Roo dear last night, I went upstairs to discover that we were Pooh Bear and Christopher Robin.

Thanks Susan, Sami and Jenny for advice on the biting.

Elle the physio sounds like an idiot. Think i'd feel tge same if A wasn't crawling, wouldn't want to force him. That's good he slept thru in his own bed though (i think :p)

(((hugs))) Elasti really hope H gets better and bigger soon and this is the last of his health issues

MFD love the new avvy! Glad your illness was short lived too.

Caz glad Charlie was ok on the bus on his own :)

Becles I was just wondering yesterday whether Charlotte had said anything mega cute recently, I'm loving Dolly Sugar Camembert!

Sugar certainly sounds like an eventful trip!!!

Well I just realised it's Alfie's 8 week check today at 9.30:eek: Thought it was next week (because he's not 8 weeks til Monday ) so need to go get ready.

Then going to Trafford Centre with sis as she wants me to buy another bridesmaid dress as she is doing a renewal of vows in May over here after her wedding in Australia last year that nobody (apart from me) on her side of the family was at. (Her DH is Australian but they live over here)

Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

Edit: Susan, telling me not to read back makes me want to set aside tomorrow to catch up on all 60+ pages :rotfl:
    I was being serious.
Was she induced? You don't have a choice over the injection if you are induced.
In practice maybe you don't but legglly you do - it's just that unless something really extreme (like a forced CS) happens people don't pursue it through the courts.
I was really ignorant about pregnancy and labour, I didn't even take a bag of baby stuff to the hossie as my mum said you werent allowed too (which was true, 2 years before) anyhow, I didnt even know they stuck you with a needle to get the placenta out, I just yowled when they did and it wasn't coming out quick enough for them, so they started pulling it  I was SCREAMING - That is how I ended up with rotten placenta in my womb, that gave me a blood infection.

    EEJITS!!
 I know you've told us about it before but it still always shocks me. They pulled mine even though I'd written that I wanted a natural third stage. Next time I'm defining what a natural third stage is since they don't seem to know. I took great satisfaction from the fact that when they pulled the cord snapped and splattered loads of blood all over the floor.

Elle - I've just seen SJ's post mentioning the physio. I didn't read your post, sorry hun. Was it a nightmare? I can't believe anyone can fail to be impressed by Rhys.

    Blarting = Crying...

I'm pleased you explained. Blart is a slang word round here for lady bum bits so you can imagine my confusion :o:rotfl:
Am I weird for being a tinsy bit jealous of mums that have experienced labour?

No - my Mam was like that.

She was two weeks overdue with, so they induced her. She thinks she was given too strong a drug in the drip, as rather than contractions building up gradually and moving me down into her pelvis, she had full on contractions straight away, but I was still tucked up inside showing no intention of coming out. Every contraction was literally squeezing the life out of my as my heart kept stopping and I was getting distressed. They had to whip her down to theatre and do an emergency c-section and no harm was done to me.

She is only 5' and a petite build, and they knew my brother was a bigger baby, and she was told they didn't want to risk her going into normal labour in case she struggled again, so he was born at 38 weeks by c-section.

She wanted a third but had complications and ended up having a hysterectomy.

She felt cheated for years as she'd never experienced childbirth and struggled to come to terms with it. She was with me at the birth of Josh and James and I know it meant a lot to her to actually go through a labour with me, as it helped bury the bad feelings she had.

Trying to get loads of stuff sold off so we can get some space back!

Can you put the BIL on ebay? :D

Hope things get settled soon. It's awful when there is an atomosphere at home. I hate living like that.

Stayed up last night and finally got that essay finished. I found it really difficult and I wasn't really in the mood to write it due to recent events, so I think I've done pants :o

April is going to be a mega stress head month uni wise. I've got the regular study for my B301 course to do. I need to keep up with that as we get marks for tutor group activities, and it'll say in the text "....now discuss this in your tutor group forum", so I can't fall behind or I miss out on the discussions and marks.

I've got to finish off the last chapter of study on B322 and write the final assignment for that. It's a business plan of me pretending to buy the corner shop that's up for sale.

Then I've got revision to do for the two exams I should have sat last October but I was poorly and missed them. Not looked at the books since, so hoping it all comes flooding back.

My lovely parents are taking the children to their caravan for 10th and 17th weekends though so that will help loads. They've been a huge support with childcare and helping out with costs, and letting me rant at them when I've had enough and want to pack it all in :o

Becles I was just wondering yesterday whether Charlotte had said anything mega cute recently, I'm loving Dolly Sugar Camembert!

Her latest thing is with a plush fish. We were in bed having a cuddle the other night (she likes me to get in with her for a few minutes before she goes to sleep). I picked the fish up and said in a silly voice "hello, I'm a fish and I think it's time you went to peeps now" which made her giggle. Then she picked the fish up and kept saying random things with it like "hello I'm a cabbage" and "hello I'm a biscuit" then it went onto "hello, I've got bird poo in my eye" and stupid things like that. Was ill laughing and she keeps doing it with other toys now.
Here I go again on my own....
