Morning ladies - and any gentlemen lurkers

Our stopping BFing started this morning because I neglected to wake up until 7.00am and Benjamin woke at 7.25am. No time for a feed before we left for the CM.

Oh well - at least I didn't have to have 'last feed' nostalgia!!

Redundancy interview this morning and then my lovely husband is coming to take me to lunch. He normally works about 50 miles from me but he has some lads working down the road so we are going to meet in what used to be our local when we lived here in Stoke!

Morning ..... 6:15 is too early for a first feed, but at least I get to go back to bed afterwards ...... I hate formula-based poop ..... Andrew's latest trick is to rotate himself through 180 degrees in the cot once he wakes up.

Think I've covered all today's excitement in this house! Off to watch JK now.

Morning all, just read back a few posts and wanted to add my two pence worth.
As a baby I never crawled, according to my mum I just stood up and walked no warning or nothing. Her HV told her I would be a juvinile delinquent because Id missed a crucial development step. Yet here I am 24, no ASBO's or bank jobs to my name. So don't stress.

James didn't crawl either. He'd spent a day pulling himself up against the sofa and then my Mam was over the next day and I was showing her what he could do. Then all of a sudden he just walked across the room and we couldn't speak as we were properly gobsmacked. He was only 9 months old as well!

Charlotte didn't really crawl much, but she waited till about 10 months until she could sit up, and then seemed to go from sitting to walking in no time at all.

Another Charlotte-ism. I was putting my contact lenses in this morning and she said "ooooh Mam's putting her eyeball stickers in" :rotfl:

I think Tia said that it is more important for premmies to crawl because it develops their muscles which are needed for other things later on. For most babies crawling either happens or doesn't - premmies should be encouraged to crawl (but not trained like monkeys )

I think it is the attitude of the physio that is the problem.


Although, incidentally, I train Benjamin to do stuff all the time - that's how he does cute stuff!!

Glad it is not just me!! Did you see that I trained Benjamin to shout 'YAY' and clap when we sang Happy Birthday to him Now that was too cute!!


This morning he was being cute all on his own though - we had an ITNG CD on in the car and he was bopping his head, clapping and laughing at Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy :T:T Certainly sent me to work with a spring in my step
