I have a stroker rather than a pincher - every morning after she's had her feed she lies next to me stroking/patting my chest.

Sometimes I have to put a stop to it as it does get irritating cos it's disturbing my sleep :rotfl:

Hello Lurker (whoever you are come back soon) :D

Gym - I also recommend getting some help ASAP some numbers for you.

Oh twitchy eye stopped twitching this afternoon - heaven I was very grumpy as it was very irritating.

    Thanks for the PMs :)

MFD - the CM can't guarantee me a place now and says it would be unfair to charge me a retainer. But she says she's willing to try again nearer the time (I'm currently on the last 13 weeks unpaid maternity leave now). But I don't know what to do if she can't offer me a place. Maybe have to look for a different CM. Which will be a shame because Josh knows Penny and likes going. It's playing on my mind a lot - Caitlyn is better with DH now - I've nipped out twice whilst he's had her, and last Monday he took her to his mums whilst I took Josh swimming and she was ok. But I still don't think she would settle with anyone else yet. Going to give it a few weeks and re-evaluate then I think.

Without trying to teach you to suck eggs :o is there anything that you might be able to do to increase her independence over the next few weeks?
I am probably poking my nose in but I just think I would be in bits in your situation. It was always on my mind that I needed Benjamin to be independant because I don't think I could cope if he was unhappy whilst I was at work.
Does she play on her own? Do you go to baby groups where she mixes with other children and adults? Can you leave her for 5 mins, 10 mins, 20 mins (in a safe place obviously) to amuse herself and not be reliant on you?
Sorry if I am prying, I just want to help :o I will happily back off if you don't want suggestions (please tell me nicely though!!!)

Mine stopped at about 6 months I think, and has been growing back since then. Mine was strange in that it was just the whole front section that fell out. The new hair growth, which is hidden under my fringe, is now only about 8mm shorter than my fringe. I will look normal soon. :p

Three times this week, V has poked her finger up OH's left nostril causing it to bleed. :rotfl: Evil little witch she is. ;)

Hubby pulled a clump of hair out in a fit of passion the other night :o I say pulled, he kissed me and kind of grabbed the back of my hair in his fist...and when he let go there was a load of hair in his hand - we were both like :eek::eek:

LOL - Benjamin is doing finger up hubbys nose too! Do you reckon it is because their nostrils are bigger? You need to cut her nails ;)

    ...or not ;)

    Suggestions are great :)
She will play on her own sometimes, but quite often she cries when I leave the room. She'll stay with DH for 15-20 mins now whether I'm in the room or not. We all went swimming earlier and she was quite happy with him whilst I took Josh on the water flume. DHs mum managed to hold her for the first time yesterday - before she would cry as soon as she held her. I think we are making progress - allbeit slow progress.
I go to a baby group on a Wednesday. Before the CM sessions she was ok, but the session after that she cried whenever I got up to have a drink of my coffee. It's made me realise how much I do want to go back to work.

Not! He needs to be more careful where she sticks her sharp little fingers. :rotfl:

Omg! lol.... the handle was turning as normal so i didn't even think to get a screwdriverit felt like something was stuck behind the door i had allsorts of paranoia going through my head (i thought the ex had been hiding up there and locked me out to steal Amber lmao).

So i was thinking what can i use to ram it off the hinges cos my weight wasn't shifting it. Anyway i went and knocked on next door who were in bed (oops) they said oh we're not normally in bed this early but we've been doing DIY all day (ya don't say, i totally didn't hear bang bang all day ).

He unscrewed the handle and found that the square turny bit was too short so wasn't turning. DOH!!!!!!!! I'd never have thought of that. What a moron i am.

Beenie is not a moron Beenie was in worried mummy mode as she was on the opposite side of a jammed door to her DD.

I would also have to request neighbourly assistance with a stuck door as I don't know one end of a screwdriver from the other.
