Sami - what time is the concert? I'd imagine it it's the usual 7:30 start but JLS not on till about 9, will Chris not being getting tired and therefore more likely to be funny over the loud noises etc.

I personally think he's a bit too young, and it's a lot of money if you can't guarantee that he'll enjoy it (but that is only my opinion and I obviously I don't really know Chris ) But as you said, you could always try ebaying them nearer the time.

SJ - Thanks. Don't worry, Alfie is still very young. Liam is almost 8 months and there are only a handful of pictures of us both. I hate my photo being taken. That one is from a professional shoot. We have the shots on a dvd slideshow so i had to do some careful printscreen copies Very crafty mr photographer making sure we have to go and by prints.

EA - gorgeous dress. Are you having a black/silver theme? What is your dress like?

Sami IMO i think chris is too young. i took Meg to see girls aloud when she was 7/8 and she was very overwhelmed by it and there were a lot of people screaming and when entering/leaving there can be a lot of shoving.If he is scared of loud noise i think he would be terrified as the music is always blaring and makes my ears hurt.
if you can get tickets i would buy them and sell them on for a nice profit

thanks girls I think I was getting over excited I know he'd love to see "the JLS lads" as he says but the MEN is massive and probably pretty scary to a 4yo.
oh well, maybe I'll get him the dvd when it comes out

And the steps are pretty extreme...I get scared of me falling never mind an excited/scared 4yo.

Depends on what you want. We did ours in 20 weeks (most of which was my final teaching practice) and it wasn't difficult because everything was done either by us or friends so we weren't having to deal with special wedding people who like to work on a longer time scale. The most time consuming things for us were:
- Invitations (because we made them) and deciding who to invite.
- Choosing the Hymns/Psalms and music for entry/exit/signing of the register and then making the order of service
- Wedding dress (because I made it)

Other things to organise were:
- sort out reception venue and organise food (we had it at church and they did the food for us so don't know how much work it is)
- cake (a friend made ours)
- photos (we had a friend and this is something people seem to be keen to do as we had two different people volunteer)
- honeymoon
- flowers (I just did bouquets/button holes myself and someone else did stuff for the chapel)
- hair (again I just did it myself)
- transport to church (my brother drove my parents car with a white ribbon on it)
- bridesmaid/best man/giver away if required

we drove past on our way to Glasgow & I said to OH 'Shall we just do it?' but he wanted his family there. I'm not that fussed as far too much hassle getting them all together!

lady - I can sympathise! Jack was up for 40mins at 2am - after 20mins he had a poo so I'm wondering if he is a bit constipated as his poos are quite hard. He drinks loadsa water though!

day of tidying up today and then maybe a trip to Next to see if there's actually anything I like and find out what time they open

We're having a black and white theme, but the dress i was originally going to buy for her was in ASDA and they stopped selling it. Then we saw the baby K one and loved it

Morning all,

Rhys woke up at half six so I brought him in with me (OH was just getting up for work) and I'm not sure he went back to sleep.. I did, but he kept waking me up by hitting my shoulder repeatedly or [STRIKE]sucking my cheek with all his might[/STRIKE] kissing me

We finally got up, he had half his milk (so not hungry then!) and now he's lying on his play gym, drifting off to sleep then waking himself up with a jump then nodding off again :rotfl:

No plans at all for today, I just need to make a huge batch of Rhys' food cos I'm fed up of the lack of variety so dread to think how he feels! Then my sister is coming over so we're going to see her at my parents' house later tonight
