My wedding cake was pants but I didn't have time to get the one I wanted and mum bullied me into having a layer of fruitcake _pale_ bleugh!

I also didn't even get to eat any of Chris's Christening cake because she insisted on getting fruit and at the time I was too tired to argue with her (she can be a right bint when she wants!)

OMG guy on the street on this morning in responce to the Qu how much a month do you spend on clothes, "not much, about £300" :eek:

I'm sure i've told the story before, but a not so quick recap.

L had her 6th birthday party at an outdoor adventure/play place about 20 miles away from here. She was allowed to invite 5 friends (that's all I could fit in the car), OH brought himself, J, Mum & Sister in his 4 seater.
She chose her five best friends.

The mother of C, one child not invited moaned to another childs Mum about me leaving out her child - then didn't speak to me for over 3 years , and refused to invite L to C's next three parties although the whole class was invited.
C was invited to L's next parties, and came, but it was always someone elses mum who brought & collected her.

L was upset a few weeks ago as C's party was being organised and C had told L her mum said she's not allowed to invite her. :mad: I told L to tell C to tell her mum to 'build a bridge and get over it'. (This was tongue in cheek btw and she wasn't meant to tell her).

Anyhows, the following week the Mum came over to me in the playground and started chatting, asking how J & V are, all very friendly! Then L got an invite to her party. :rotfl:

am !!!!ed off - I did a MS job and the client is querying it now saying there were no male staff on shift! Dur there bl00dy well was cos he served me!
It's only because I said the toilet was all skiddy and hadn't been cleaned!

Hey all,

How is everyone this morning?

Me and OH are planning our first epic trip out tomorrow, we have free vouchers to go to a English Heritage/National Trust place so we are off to Cragside tomorrow.

What should we dress Elliot in? should we just dress him in his vest, bodysuit, pramsuit, hat and mittens?

Or should we put him in actual clothes? if so what? a vest, pants, top, coat and pramsuit???

Also can someone run through with me everything we will need in changing bag? nappies, baby wipes, nappy sacks, cotton wool, changing mat, change of clothes, bottles of milk.

How will I get round the formula problem? currently I boil kettle in the morning and put the water in the bottles for the day, then add the forumula as we need it, unless I take the big tub of formula I cant do that? any suggestions?

I have heard some scary storys about parents and the "playground !!!!!" as they call it. Thank goodness I'm miles away from Fishfingers school days because I'm bricking it lol.

BM what about flying down? you may be able to get a cheap flight and im sure someone will pick u up it seems a shame for you to miss out!

im a cruel mummy i have used the reigns to keep Erin in the big pram with her bottle and cbeebies on the tv, she will not leave me alone for a second and keeps crying? she seems happy now though

BM - i muted it so no idea why she had them, I knew I'd get angry/upset over it.
I'd never tell someone they were wrong to have one etc I just don't want to hear about it myself IYSWIM

I saw two mams throwing punches in the playground not so long ago. One of thems bf had sex with the other woman. TBH, he was no oil painting and they were both fat spotty mingers.

It's Jeremy Kyle tv round here I swears.

Thanks! We used a local guy. He did a good job of Liam's passport photo and was really good with him. But he is clever - the photos have been supplied on a dvd, as a slideshow with his name running across the bottom so we can't get crafty copies made Will have to go through him and he is expensive :mad:

All the wedding talk makes me want to do it all again too!

Well C wouldn't settle in my bed alone last night for the first time (she's usually up there til we go to bed) so she ended up asleep on me downstairs til half ten. Not sure if I just don't remember but I don't think she woke then til 8am - but I may have latched her on in my sleep! I hope it was the former :T

Well Yay Charlotte for sleeping through :T (Even if it was on Mummy) Liam seems to have clicked with his sleeping - he even has naps - 1/2 in the moring and 1 1/2 - 2hrs in the afternoon :eek: can you belive it? And he has more or less stopped the waking in the night. I think C is biding her time too, she will get it one day

Going into work this afternoon to pick up my laptop and have a hand over. Apparently a customer wants me to take him over to our lab in Italy and has been waiting for me to come back so I can take him (doesn't want anyone else to take him). Not sure what will happen but will know more next week.

Off to build new storage unit now for C's room.
