Oh yeah totally. I understand. See, I'm not really against them, if you actually do a valid reason for not going ahead and it's detrimental to your health (I'm thinking along the lines of rape etc here).

I went to school with a VERY loose girl, and last time I spoke to her, she was on her 2nd abortion. For no reason except she didn't want a child. Ah well don't spread your legs like flora then!

I do think they should lower the abortion limit though (unless it's for a medical reason) It horrifys me they do it so late on :eek:

Same here

When i had that mc ages ago, my dad told me my Stepmom had an abortion. It really upset me, knowing that i lost a baby but she willingly gave one up.

Kindof - When we went out with a bottle of formula, i put boiling water in the bottle and then put the powder in a breastmilk storage pot, which fit snuggly inside the bottle above the water. Then i wrapped a muslin square around it as my change bag doesn't have big enough bottle holders for the TT bottles.

Me & Lily just tried out our sling, its a Bruin one from Babies R Us. And she loved it! She snuggled right into my chest and i went and did my hair and make up. Then i had a quick tidy up
The freedom was amazing.

She's now asleep next to me on the sofa

kind of - do you have any formula containers? You can get TT ones or ASDA do their own?
If not, get a small tupperware and pop the formula in there. Ideally you should sterilise it but I never did

Changing bag - bibs or muslins to mop up any dribbles or sick. Other that that seems OK but then I always forget something!

Clothes - its up to you about clothes or babysuit. It's warmish today so pramsuit, hats & mittens & clothes might be a bit much! Vest, babysuit & the above should be fine.
You can check his temperature by feeling the back of his neck or his chest - never hands or feet cos they are always cold!

The thought of playgroud mums scare me.

Kindof - don't feel you have to get Elliot dressed up to go out. He'll have his pramsuit on anyway. Your change bag list seemed fine to me. how about measuring out the powder and just taking it in a smaller pot?

There was no reason for her having them other than she didn't want children. I don't actually know why she was on tv really. Her point was that she regretted it because she's since had a hysterectomy (sp) for medical reason and can't have children now she wants one.

While I don't agree with it, i think you could be forgiven for one, but four is just careless!


Its great now that L walks to school with friends so I don't have to deal with the pretend niceness of the Mums. We don't have chavvy mums at our school, they're all older and like to think they're posh. :rotfl:

Before L started school, I was new to the area so drove round the local schools in the morning and at home times to check out the state of the parents. The nearest school to us was a definate nono - that is the proper chav school with parents in trackies and pj's. :rotfl:

Oh Oh, I just realised I have loads of tiny wispy bits of hair sticking through all my hair. I look stupid BUT it means my hair is finally growing back. I knew it was that implant!!

Well done Liam :j We seem to be having naps too (in the pram - we HAVE to walk somewhere twice a day lol) so fingers crossed we'll get there soonish

Start back on Monday Won't be too bad but just determined to make it work so I can work from home permanently. I've already thought about taking extra's on the trip if I have to go . Will have to see how it pans out though (and I don't want to waste all OH's holidays with my work trips - though China would be worth it - the sales guy was booked to go then decided it was too far and chickened out - not sure how that went down with the boss yet with wasted flights etc :eek:).

Off for a walk to Tesco now - someone is whingy and needs a sleep (she will go off in the garden in her pram but it's good to get out ).

Im not looking forward to the school mum gangs. Im not the most talkative of people (in real life) and i dont really like talking to people either lol. But i dont want to come across as the weirdo mum who hates everyone

Once i finish Uni and start working, OH is going to be a SAHD anyway. So he'll prob end up doing the school run

KOAG - the TT ones fit into the bottles so take up less space and are about £2.50 I think. I got a 3 section one from Asda which was about the same price and think I saw one in Tesco aswell.

Just redid the curtains in Williams bedroom with the blackout bits on then seeing as the clocks go forward this weekend (dont forget girls and Bruno and MOTM - where is he BTW). William is now sat in his pram cooing to himself and farting every couple of minutes !! Oh the joys of living with men eh!!

I have also stripped the beds and sheets are on the line as we speak, hooray for sunshine...very productive day so far... off to Sainsburys later for cheap baby stuff...
