Hey all,
How is everyone this morning?
Me and OH are planning our first epic trip out tomorrow, we have free vouchers to go to a English Heritage/National Trust place so we are off to Cragside tomorrow.
What should we dress Elliot in? should we just dress him in his vest, bodysuit, pramsuit, hat and mittens?
Or should we put him in actual clothes? if so what? a vest, pants, top, coat and pramsuit???
Also can someone run through with me everything we will need in changing bag? nappies, baby wipes, nappy sacks, cotton wool, changing mat, change of clothes, bottles of milk.
How will I get round the formula problem? currently I boil kettle in the morning and put the water in the bottles for the day, then add the forumula as we need it, unless I take the big tub of formula I cant do that? any suggestions?Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

BM what about flying down? you may be able to get a cheap flight and im sure someone will pick u up
it seems a shame for you to miss out!
im a cruel mummy i have used the reigns to keep Erin in the big pram with her bottle and cbeebies on the tv, she will not leave me alone for a second and keeps crying? she seems happy now thoughWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Well Sami, I didn't actually read about it, and thought it was about money (as usual) But I can see the point in this one! Even if it does suck for moi and bop!
Fly down. Do you get £10 returns on that like? :rotfl:0 -
3 - its so petty isn't it! did you feel like saying I thought you were supposed to be the adult here!
BM - i muted it so no idea why she had them, I knew I'd get angry/upset over it.
I'd never tell someone they were wrong to have one etc I just don't want to hear about it myself IYSWIM0 -
I saw two mams throwing punches in the playground not so long ago. One of thems bf had sex with the other woman. TBH, he was no oil painting and they were both fat spotty mingers.
It's Jeremy Kyle tv round here I swears.0 -
NMS That pic is fantastic.
Who did you use in the end?
Thanks! We used a local guy. He did a good job of Liam's passport photo and was really good with him. But he is clever - the photos have been supplied on a dvd, as a slideshow with his name running across the bottom so we can't get crafty copies madeWill have to go through him and he is expensive
All the wedding talk makes me want to do it all again too!
Well C wouldn't settle in my bed alone last night for the first time (she's usually up there til we go to bed) so she ended up asleep on me downstairs til half ten. Not sure if I just don't remember but I don't think she woke then til 8am - but I may have latched her on in my sleep! I hope it was the former :T
Well Yay Charlotte for sleeping through :T (Even if it was on Mummy) Liam seems to have clicked with his sleeping - he even has naps - 1/2 in the moring and 1 1/2 - 2hrs in the afternoon  can you belive it? And he has more or less stopped the waking in the night. I think C is biding her time too, she will get it one day
Going into work this afternoon to pick up my laptop and have a hand over. Apparently a customer wants me to take him over to our lab in Italyand has been waiting for me to come back so I can take him (doesn't want anyone else to take him). Not sure what will happen but will know more next week.
Off to build new storage unit now for C's room.
Hugs to all xxx
Oh, does he realise the trip will include a BF baby and Hubby to take over parental duties
When do you start back at work?0 -

Oh yeah totally. I understand. See, I'm not really against them, if you actually do a valid reason for not going ahead and it's detrimental to your health (I'm thinking along the lines of rape etc here).
I went to school with a VERY loose girl, and last time I spoke to her, she was on her 2nd abortion. For no reason except she didn't want a child. Ah well don't spread your legs like flora then!
I do think they should lower the abortion limit though (unless it's for a medical reason) It horrifys me they do it so late on :eek:0 -

What my dress or Lily's? Mine has loads of beading all over the corset and a rose scrunchy up bit on the skirt
But i love it. And it looks good on me when held up against me lol.hmm not sure I should be watching this woman on This Morning talking about the 4 abortions she's had,
(Sami doesn't agree with abortion)
When i had that mc ages ago, my dad told me my Stepmom had an abortion. It really upset me, knowing that i lost a baby but she willingly gave one up.
Kindof - When we went out with a bottle of formula, i put boiling water in the bottle and then put the powder in a breastmilk storage pot, which fit snuggly inside the bottle above the water. Then i wrapped a muslin square around it as my change bag doesn't have big enough bottle holders for the TT bottles.
Me & Lily just tried out our sling, its a Bruin one from Babies R Us. And she loved it! She snuggled right into my chest and i went and did my hair and make up. Then i had a quick tidy up
The freedom was amazing.
She's now asleep next to me on the sofa0 -
kind of - do you have any formula containers? You can get TT ones or ASDA do their own?
If not, get a small tupperware and pop the formula in there. Ideally you should sterilise it but I never did
Changing bag - bibs or muslins to mop up any dribbles or sick. Other that that seems OK but then I always forget something!
Clothes - its up to you about clothes or babysuit. It's warmish today so pramsuit, hats & mittens & clothes might be a bit much! Vest, babysuit & the above should be fine.
You can check his temperature by feeling the back of his neck or his chest - never hands or feet cos they are always cold!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
