  • Morning all. Our turn for a ousy night - were up for a few hours for no apparent reason, other than she wouldn't go back to sleep. Its going to be another get-a-nap-in-if-I-can sort of day. I'm off to be told off by the dentit this morning - he wanted me to start flossing, but I only do it about once a week - it eats into valuable sleeping/leaving for work on time!

OH got his hols changed to w/c 14th June and I've emailed my new boss to see if I can have that week too... just need to find somewhere now! Wondering if I should point out just how close the north of the Lake District is to Gretna ;) (I never even knew where Gretna was before now :o)

We got married at Gretna Green in the original old blacksmiths forge - very romantic

Only close family and friends were there, and everyone stayed all weekend and we had a great time. If you decide to do it and want some help, let me know.
Here I go again on my own....

Just wanted to post a quick note to say I haven't disappeared again. I went out on Wed night with mummy friends and then finally got my eyes lasered yesterday, so wasn't allowed on the computer. Not sure if I'm supposed to be on it today until I've been for my check up this morning, so will be going offline again soon. Should be on tonight though for a proper catch-up.

I haven't caught up with anyone's news, except can tell from this page that Tara has the wedding booked!!! I have all my lists and templates and other things from our wedding, so if you need any help/anything emailing to you, just let me know.

    xxx

any FB pros know if there's a way to set it so that 1 person (or 4 or 5) won't see your updates in their news feed, but if they go visit your profile they can still see stuff? I can limit it to 1 application if necessary...

    OOoh your talking weddings :D

Can i join in? :) We paid off the regisitry office the other day, now just have to call the church to cancel our slot and then pay the reception venue :D

Then i can get on with buying all the decorations, i cant wait to decorate the venue. I love doing stuff like that :)

Oooh oooh and i can now try on my dress as i dont have a massive bump in the way! :j

Cant believe i have 10 weeks left until my wedding :O
First im a mum and now im becoming a wife! Its all happening so fast :)

    Ok, here's my thinking...

Bring a dish off our list,
DD does the cake with her OH,
her OH's Mum is a photographer,
my friends cousin is a whizz with arty stuff and has done all the tables for lots of weddings,
    DD's friend does flowers,
Car, not so important, can find a smart one.

BUT, isn't the wedding bit a secret?
So bring a dish, photographer for a christening would work, but would you have to tel friends cousin, DD's friend that tables/flowers are for a wedding and not just a christening?

EA Have you picked/got your dress but just not tried it on yet because of bump?

We're having a cupcake tower. The cakes we are possible using are from Asda, i have to buy some first to see if i like them :)

But it works out about £30 for all of them :)
Just need to find a stand! :D

3- Yes i already have it. Its in my wardrobe waiting for me to try on! :)
