*whispers* Sami, the joint ceremony is back on!
:j:j We are hoping to do this as well what with family living all over the UK.kindofagilr wrote: »Thanks again guys
I might make up 3oz bottles cos sometimes he drinks that much and Id hate to make a 2 oz bottle for him to need more
Like others have said, I've always made up an 1oz more than he would usually drink. Then when he starts draining a bottle move up another oz. We are on 7oz bottles and Jack tends to drain them but I know he wouldn't drink 8oz cos everytime I make an 8 he leaves 1oz.Evansangel wrote: »I was looking up Holidays earlier. Dont know when would be the best time to go though, i mean age wise for Lily??
Before or after i start weaning her?
When she's asleep she keeps putting her hand down my top and stroking my boob... :rotfl:
Probably before! Bottles or boob are soooooooooooooooo much easier!
I remember posting on here really late one night when I was on the sofa with Jack and he had head on his hands and his elbows hooked down my bra :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
FR- Lily takes abot 30/40mins with her bottle feed.
Nappy change if she is really wet/pooped.
Drink 2/3ozs.
Winding.
Tiny nap/resting eyes.
Drink rest of bottle.
Winding again.
Finished
What age did everyone start introducing a routine? I was thinking maybe about 1month old??0 -

We're discussing where to go for our week away tonight and Devon Cliffs/Exeter has been mentioned...
We're going there at the 2nd week of June we've booked through these people I feel like we're getting a luxury caravan for basic caravan prices.

GISI, well done Henry!!!
EA, before weaning, easier. And at that age they usaully still fit in carry cots (if you have one) so you can get out later at night while they sleep in the pram, plus you don't need a cot and highchair etc etc.
We always just fell into a routine around 6-8weeks. Although, its apt to vary day to day. It's only recently that I can plan when she naps, feeds etc.0 -
Argh I am in pain

EA, I'm only just introducing a bedtime routine now, have absolutely no routine in the day but it works for me! If you do start a routine at 1 month be prepared for it to change quite frequently in the next few months

We're off to Exeter at the end of April. I love it down in the West Country. We go down there most years I think. This year we are going with some friends and it will be Henry's first holiday!
Henry rolled over today. It was front to back, when we were at baby massage and I was so proud of him. He's been such a little cutie today. He cooed all the way through baby massage and was the only baby that didn't cry.
Yeah Henry. X. Where, actually in Exeter?
Flippen Location, location, location are pronouncing all the names wrong tonight! :cool:oooo the cliffs are pretty, but my heart lies in far west cornwall. St ives is my absolute fav in all the uk (tho to be fair i haven't been to that many places)
We're off to St.Ives on the 12th. X
EA, I started at about 6wks. XXXToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
Yeah, I did the sweaty things for a few weeks, now I'm onto major hair loss
