It didn't work.. Got an automated reply of "This is an automatic reply that should help you deal with the issue – please carefully read the FAQ links below to answer your questions. Sadly neither Martin nor the site are able to deal with personal MoneySaving questions, the site has 8 million users and we aren’t set up or able to give one-on-one help. Rest assured if we know the answer we put it on the site." :(

But there's a bit at the bottom that says "Last resort contact details

There aren't the resources to answer individual questions, so this is only if your question definitely isn't answered any other way you can contact us via furtherhelp@moneysavingexpert.com and we will endeavour to assist you as much as possible; though if the answer is covered by the above we’ll just sent a link."

Do you want to try that address or do you want me to? :)

KOAG - As he is soo young then yes just feed him as and when he wants it...as time goes on you will eb able to get him into some kind of pattern, say every 3-4hrs as his tummy will be able to hold more milk:)

Sami, boogelly - you've both mentioned bottle issues in the past. Finn's point blank refusing to take any bottles any more (went through about a week or 2 gap where I didn't give him any and now since last week's separation episode he's flat out refusing them), which I feel if we don't fix it now will only escalate to more problems down the line with return to work, etc. Any tips? I've been trying to offer him a bottle once a day, which he usually just sobs down the house at. We've tried TT CTN and Breastflow (both of which he's taken in the past). I'm loathe to spend loads of money on trying different teats, especially as he's taken from both those bottles previously. Sometimes the milk is freshly pmped within the hour so I know it's not a temp issue.
I decided to pick a bottle and stick with it, I gone for the nuk as that is the one he seemed to hate the least :p
I give him it every day with water in, he gets soaking wet but I think it's working because on sunday night he drank 1/2 oz after his tea with only a teeny bit of fuss :)

Am I right to feed him when he wakes and not wake him for a feed? No-one really told us what we should be doing. I just thought it would be better feeding him when he asks for it.
There are different views on this but unless he is not eating enough, you don't need to wake him for feeds.

Sami, where did you get the Nuk bottle from? :) I need to get some more for mum's house to stop all the forwards/backwards/forgetting (on mum's part!) stuff!

Ah, well that's more of a response than I got:rotfl:

I will read through the FAQ's (unlikely to have an answer to my bizarre question but hey)

If there is no answer there I can give the 'other' e-mail address a try but if no luck, I would really appreciate it if one of you could help me out again:o

Thank you both:A

KOAG- I'm also of the school of thought of 'never wake a sleeping baby' I just fed DD when she woke up and asked for it, though she was 2nd day jaundice so they suggested I woke her to feed her every 3 hours or give her formula instead as it flushes through the system quicker, but I did the 'becles star mummy tip' of looking interested and nodding, then just feeding her when she woke up. They soon let you know when they are hungry don't they :D
