Evening,
DH did whole 2 hours at work today before the entire staff were stood down for the day and told to ring in tonight to see if they should bother going in tomorrow.
Hope the ash clears soon as there was talk of all the staff being temp laid off until it clears!
It did mean he got lots of jobs done today ready for the weekend.
I have just got cross with him though as he took in the delivery from Asda and didn't check what was frozen and what wasn't and by the time I got home some of it had defrosted!!! and its all eat within 24 hours of defrosting.
Hugs for all poorly babies and mummies.

I'm a bad mum, Amber is crying upstairs and I'm ignoring her, there is nothing I can do for her and she needs a sleep. She's not being sick, just whinging I did check. Trying to make dinner for the boys and I (DH is on back shifts so he is at work)
To punish me she projectile vomited down my top when I went up 5mins later. :rotfl:
She is back to just lying on her side refusing water so I'm syringing it in.
Chris has been carried up to his bad after refusing dinner saying he has a sore head and then he fell asleep. He's warm but refusing medicine (and the fight would make him worse if I were to force it). Oh and so that I don't put medicine in his juice, he insists I bring it through in a jug and pour it infront of him! Mad Eye Moody style! :rotfl:0 -

I've let Charlotte play out in the street today. She thinks it's brilliant playing out.
The boys are with her, but I still keep taking a sneaky peak through the window every few minutesHere I go again on my own....0 -
I know lol I meant to put some tinfoil on the roof of my car last night to see it I could get any ash but gutted I forgot!
Sorry about your sister

GISI, random question but I've just remembered you asked the other day. What type of thing were you thinking of as raffle prizes?0
-
Well, we're thinking things like a facial at a local spa, meal at a local restaurant, pair of tickets for the zoo, two passes for the local softplay place, posh wine etc but as it's NCT I'm wondering whether it might be good to include something like a sling....I don't know! We need to start tapping businesses up for donations.
I just had the most amazing SW curry. Nom, nom. Now to put the bubba to bed.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Thanks elle, I'd forgotten that I meant to say - GISI, Lush shops have a monthly allowance of stuff they can donate to charity raffles etcOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My baby is ill and I don't know what to do! (even though really I do I'm just all upset because she is upset)
When do you call the doctor? (even though I know, I need someone to rationally tell me and calm me down)0 -
Hello
((hugs)) to all the poorly people:( Any news from Caz, was Charlie well enough to go home?
I am feeling a bit better this evening, well I don't need to lie-down anyway....I have also managed to eat half a sandwich at lunch time, and am debating some soup shortly but not sure yet! Bad news is dh is now lay upstairs feeling sick and Luca and Jaden have both been in bed since coming home from school...Jaden has been sick a few times, Luca has been on the verge of it but not actually been sick....I feel so sorry for Jaden too, he is meant to be going to Camelot tomorrow with Beavers and has been so excited about it for about a month now:( I doubt he will be going but I am going to prepare everything in case he feels miraculously better in the morning. I have told him just to stay in bed sipping juice and get plenty of sleep as that is all that seems to help.
Well we should all be recovered by next Saturday, which is when we go to York, so silver linings and all that:cool:
I still haven't picked a freezer I am torn between just replacing the one we have, which is an undercounter tpye...or splashing out and getting a big american style one...even though I am not sure where it would go:o I just hate 'replacing' stuff and when something breaks we usually try to get something a bit better/newer/different iykwim:p
