scruffy and tia EH have just phoned me back and are looking into this as a matter of urgency as there has been more reported cases:eek::eek::eek:
so would it be ok to mail me your numbers and ill pass them on if required? you dont have to but they may need them.i was told anything form 2-9 days to notice anything, it can also be passed from one to another so handwashing is really important.
i guess we are lucky that Charlie is a chunky boy as he had something to keep him going, he has lost quite a bit of weight though.
More Complaints Oh dear that doesn't sound good . How is Charlie now?
I just said the same to DH tonight that El has lost a fair bit of weight in the 4/5 days she was poorly.
Tia How is Amber is the paracetamol still working
Mel Hope you feel better very soon
Sorry was just skim reading so if I've missed anything sorry x xEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

Can I totally go back in time and buy this for Amber?
ETA, she was sick a few more times, but is in bed and not heard her yet. She needs to sleep, she won't down here as she likes her cot. Hoping she has a good long sleep, she will feel better afterwards. If she is still ill tomorrow or later tonight I will phone NHS 24. She is ill but not worryingly ill, more feeling sorry for herself ill right now. Plus, if I have to take her up it means getting someone to look after the boys and Chris is ill and well, I want to make sure it is needed before messing about.0 -
No, I understand asking for money and that's fine. It'd just be nice to have a vague idea what they want to spend it on
Righty, I'm away to Asda.. :hello:0 -

Evening!
MM- I meant to say to you yesterday when you asked about holiday destinations, Bournemouth is lovely and has quite a good airport with a shuttle bus going to the town centre/seaside.
Gentle hugs to all the poorly ones.
A few of us who missed out on Baby Sensory today went for a long walk instead and it was lovely. It was so sunny and we must have walked about 2 miles.
Went and looked around another nursery today and really loved it. I'm going to take hubby there next week, and if he likes it too we'll register H. I'm not going back to work till August but I want to start H off with some settling in sessions and then one afternoon a week before then. When I do go back he'll only be doing one day a week but it'll be a long 8-6 day.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Another off topic rant.. but..
We got a evening invitation to the wedding do of an old college friend today. I've seen her once since Rhys was born and once while pregnant. They've been living together for years already and the invite says "[they] have requested that gifts be in the form of monetary donations"... Donations to(wards) what exactly?! Even if you're going to spend the money on your gas bill, surely some vague/false/bluff idea might be nice for the guests?!
I dont think as an evening-only guest its compulsory etiquette to get a present anyway, just a card, I know I've never given a gift if I'm only a evening guest. The way I see it, if you're not good enough to see the wedding or eat the food, they arent good enough for a gift! *secretly hoping people dont feel the same about me though!!:o*
Bit of an odd question:
I bought a coffee table from Tesco Direct, but the pre-drilled screw holes were too shallow so the screws havent gone in and we cant put one of the drawers in it, and we mashed the screw heads trying so we cant take them out, will buy some pliers tomorrow and try to take them out then. Also, one of the drill holes was wonky, so when we screwed it in the screw went through the back, it looks crap! Am I being fair in asking them for a replacement part for the bit the screw went through? How likely do you think we are to get it?
ETA - multi quote failed me! So sorry for all the Scottish poorly babies, and the ones everywhere else too xxMummy to

Oh talking of drink.. We've got our recycling boxes near the front door, supposedly as a reminder to put them out but we haven't done it for about six weeks (fortnightly collection) and now we look like right drunks given the amount of wine and beer bottles in the glass box!
Really must remember to put them out next time, not this Monday but next I think.
