I'm a bad mum, Amber is crying upstairs and I'm ignoring her, there is nothing I can do for her and she needs a sleep. She's not being sick, just whinging I did check. Trying to make dinner for the boys and I (DH is on back shifts so he is at work)0

K has never been a big baby (well he was 8lbs8ozs but was late, had he looked at his calendar he would only have been 7lbs odd!) but wasn't ever 'big'. He also never had the hungry baby milk or took anymore than 5ozs at a feed, still won't other than last bottle when he takes 6/7ozs and hes 6 mths now.
ah, if only there was a manual, and a mute button a stand-by button and maybe even a return to factory settings switch
What you getting the MIL to make for your dinner? :rotfl:
They've brought steakSo OH will probably cook that while his mum does some veg & stuff :rotfl:

I'm loving all the casual 'volcano' talk thats being bandied about!! Only because it doesn't effect me, but was out today and folk are like volcano this, volcano that. Totally cool for saddo people watcher/ eavesdroppers like me!
I'm very amused too, although if I wasn't a responsible mummy you can bet your left buttock that I'd be trying to get to Iceland to go volcano spotting.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Maz, if you can feed LO to sleep lying down, so your not holding her, it's easier to sneak away!
Have tried and are trying that in the night now, but she doesn't seem to go to sleep very well that way. Well, she'll doze in and off but cries as soon as boob isn't there :rotfl: Even if her eyes are shut she knows when its moved. Maybe i could some some way of detatching it and leaving it with her....:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -

my sister must really want to see Kian, she has left my mums house at 4.30pm today. to get a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead at 9.15pm which gets to Holyhead at 12.30am then she has to wait till 4.15am for the first train out of holyhead. she arrives in Manc at 7.15am and will be with us for 8am.
Ferry company have advised all passenegers to arrive at least 2 hrs before the sailing as they are fully booked with mainy foot passengers...
ETA:- she should have flown at 9.30am today'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Don't do anything drastic! I quite often feed erin to sleep at night and usually she will sleep 2hrs before waking up but whenever she wakes up if OH is around I send him in because if I go she wants feeding again but if he goes he can put her on his shoulder and she will fall asleep again. I think she can smell the milk on me.

Maz, maybe you could try putting your finger in as you remove the nipple then you can slowly pull your finger out. Just a though.
