    Aww Mel that's lovely.

I want to give massive hugs and praise to all you mummies with colicky babies. Molly's finally gone to bed after screaming solidly for an hour and a half, I've been pacing with her and singing nonstop because every time I paused she'd get louder. I was running out of inner resources - I don't know how you ladies do it but you're rock stars.

Anyone watching Holby? Wish I looked like Chrissie post c-section! Ha ha, she just rolled in bed from one side to the other. I couldn't do that for about a month after I had H!

Caz- the flat coke would at least get some sugar into him. Might be worth a try if you have some.

I'm organising a fundraising raffle for our local NCT branch. Anyone got any bright ideas on prizes that are a bit different? They need to be blaggable, but I don't want to just do the usual crap!

Evening everyone, hope everyones had a good day?

    good luck tomorrow sm,

jam sorry about the job, i was made redundant as i was about to leave on maternity and without going into details i know it was because i was leaving for my mat leave, simple fact was if i hadnt been pregnant id still have a job, and from what you say if you hadnt have been on mat leave, they wouldnt have realised they 'could do without you', they've probably put their foot in it by saying that but the thing is it would be hard to prove they have discriminated against you which is why i didnt bother taking it further, if you do though from what i researched at the time to take to a tribunal you have to appeal the redundancy decision (this might not be true dont hold me to it lol) and then go from there.

caz has he not kept anything down still? id be tempted to take him in if i was you, i had to take jake in hosp and get a drip put in once cos i was even syringing water and was coming straight back up and he was just falling asleep all over the place,

hope everyone else is ok? xx

    Evening ladies,

Hugs for all sicky babies. Katie had a persistant dry tickly cough keeping her awake so I've just made her a honey and lemon drink which seems to have worked, DH just settling her now. She was pulling some interesting faces drinking it.

One of her birthday presents that I ordered from Amazon arrived today so as least she has something to open from Mummy and Daddy tomorrow.

    Jam - ((hugs))

    Mel - that's lovely.

FBB - Katie got into bed with me about 1.30am this morning and latched on everytime she she coughed as it calmed her throat, my lifesaver is feeding lying down.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

beenie - she looks like she's really lovin her L&G am so tempted to keep an eye out for one after all the recomendations on here but no idea where we would put it!

the L&G is collapsable but ours is in the kitchen near the drier as K likes to watch the drier and he can see the waher as well lol!! and was the perfect space lol!! but if needed it will fit under the kitchen table when not in use.

if it was in the sitting room would overpower everything else :D

Jam - what !!!!!! news for you, big hugs.

Sami - is that Ed or Chris in your avvy?

Caz - gentle hugs coming your way

Loving the pics of Guy, Amber & Henry!

Not caught up properly just kinda skimmed. Had a nice day today, was nice to have a break from Mystery shopping and just relax. Got Jack weighed and he is 17lb 10oz - thought he would be more but still just above the 25th centile.

The HV is doing a referral to the teams nursery nurses to see if they can help me with getting Jack to start sleep better.
I've not said much but nights are horrendous here. He cries in his sleep throughout the evening - proper screams but I don't need to go in, then he wakes around 11pm but tends to go back off with dummy and lullabies but he'll wake again anytime after that and is wide awake and will only go back to sleep in our bed. I spent an hour last night trying to get him to sleep in his room but no joy :(
I have asked for the nursery nurse that does tiny stars as we both know her already.

I think it might be partly due to our lack of routine and the fact that he eats a lot in a short space of time (dinner 1pm, bottle 4pm, tea 6pm, bottle 7.30pm) and it might sit heavy on him when he's sleeping so today I've moved it all about so dinner at 12pm, bottle at 3pm, tea at 5.30pm and bottle at 8pm. From tomorrow I WILL start getting up at 7am with him and making him start the day then, hopefully it will help. Oh and I forced him to have 3 decent naps as well today - 2 x 1hour and a 30min nap.

Just sitting down to munch my last easter egg :(
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

aww Glam- you're like me....hate to post when we are having the problems

have no suggestions at all as we never really have had any problems with sleeping (touch wood)
