Ahh thanks makes sense now :D I think i prefer ABC's so far :rotfl:

She's good at pressing the buttons and can't decide if she wants the piano buttons or the DJ thing hehe. Got it at lowest setting and she can reach the floor without putting weight on her legs :D I thought it'd be defunct for a good few months yet like, running out of floor space already.

    Daddy's home now.. ;)

Hope everyone's okay :) *hugs* and yays as required, particularly for the poorly and recovering :o

Gym, let me know if you've got any questions. Are you still trying BFing directly too - don't know if you saw my post about LatchAssist? :)

We've had a lovely day :D Rhys has been in a great mood all day and when he's wanted a nap he's just snuggled up with me and drifted off, no fighting it or even shhh-sshhh-ing required :)

Physio didn't show. Mum was here so we were just nattering while we waited but I decided 40 minutes was beyond "running late" and called the hospital to find she's off "for personal reasons" and she'd "obviously forgotten" to tell us about your appointment when she told us of all the others. Oh, thanks! Anyway, at least that's that put off for a while longer :p We might get to go in to see the physio at the hospital instead, they're supposed to be ringing me later in the week.

We've got some baby stuff dismantling to do later - swing, playgym and bouncy chair. Just curious, does everyone else keep the empty boxes up in the loft too? :o I won a wooden foldable baby jail off eBay earlier (£28.79 ;)). It's close to where my sister lives so she's going to pick it up tomorrow night for me and mum's visiting her at the weekend so we'll get it on Sunday night :)

Must straighten my hair and sort lunch and work things for tomorrow too. I've got payroll input to do - eleven months off and they expect me to remember it all and get everyone's wages right.. panic!! _pale_

Aww, poor wee bubba :( Hopefully he'll keep something down before 9 although I have to say, when I was in for rehydration with the HG, I felt a million times better with some water in me, even tho I still couldn't drink. He'll be OK x

Gym, I'm sorry I've nothing useful to add but it sounds like you're really in the wars so *hugs* I can't see your picture for some reason but I'm sure he's gorgeous :)

Beenie, the microphone is a teether but it's also supposed to say, Sing it baby! and Babadoowaaaa depending on the mode, when the baby bends it towards them. Having said that, the microphone was the first of our bits to break. Lovely picture, her eyes are fabulous.

Caz, I hope he gets better soon, it sounds really scary for you.

We just went to the far away supermarket to see if they had big boxes of nappies (no), swim rings for babies (no), spray to kill moths (no). They *did* have milk, bread and a pizza for dinner, but it was a waste of a huge hike and an hour when we could have gone to the shop around the corner. Hmph.

OH still not home, he's working late late late tonight.

Is the microphone supposed to do anything?

And the mothercare site says it has "2 modes, learn mode & music mode" - i don't understand? There's no switch to change modes is there?

the m'icrophone when pulled towards maber should sing 'sing it baby' or 'bop a do wah' dependign on what 'page' its at. the disco ball presses down/up and spins round. kian loves watching the walls when the sun catches it.
the microphone is also a teether. :)

    any other q's just ask.
kian was in his at 3 1/2months

How does pay for KIT days work? Or does it depend on company? I know my materniy info says I can do up to 10 but doesn't mention pay, and manager seemed to think there was no extra pay but didn't investigate

I think it depends on your company. I get my usual rate of pay, and lose a day's worth of SMP.

    just read this:

    http://www.kellymom.com/parenting/sleep/4mo-sleep.html

and thought it was really good

Very interesting article- sounds very true for us too!

Big gentle hugs for all the poorly babies. It does seem to be doing the rounds in Scotland.

Had a nice day today meeting some mummy friends then picking up a few Primarni bargains. Got H some very cute shorts.

Did I mention that my gorgeous chunk in now 17 lb 13oz at 21 weeks. HV was very happy with him as he is following his line. She also said I should be very proud of myself for BFing for so long, which I am!
