just back from docs and she gave me dioralite which he has also sicked up?(30ml every 10 mins) she said if he was still being sick at 9pm then i have to phone nhs24 and get him taken in! He is lying on the floor exhausted and keeps asking for a bottle of milk

Aww, poor wee bubba
Hopefully he'll keep something down before 9 although I have to say, when I was in for rehydration with the HG, I felt a million times better with some water in me, even tho I still couldn't drink. He'll be OK x 0 -
Gym, I'm sorry I've nothing useful to add but it sounds like you're really in the wars so *hugs* I can't see your picture for some reason but I'm sure he's gorgeous

Beenie, the microphone is a teether but it's also supposed to say, Sing it baby! and Babadoowaaaa depending on the mode, when the baby bends it towards them. Having said that, the microphone was the first of our bits to break. Lovely picture, her eyes are fabulous.
Caz, I hope he gets better soon, it sounds really scary for you.
We just went to the far away supermarket to see if they had big boxes of nappies (no), swim rings for babies (no), spray to kill moths (no). They *did* have milk, bread and a pizza for dinner, but it was a waste of a huge hike and an hour when we could have gone to the shop around the corner. Hmph.
OH still not home, he's working late late late tonight.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Is the microphone supposed to do anything?
And the mothercare site says it has "2 modes, learn mode & music mode" - i don't understand? There's no switch to change modes is there?
the m'icrophone when pulled towards maber should sing 'sing it baby' or 'bop a do wah' dependign on what 'page' its at. the disco ball presses down/up and spins round. kian loves watching the walls when the sun catches it.
the microphone is also a teether.
any other q's just ask.

I think it depends on your company. I get my usual rate of pay, and lose a day's worth of SMP.newbie_maz wrote: »just read this:

Very interesting article- sounds very true for us too!
Big gentle hugs for all the poorly babies. It does seem to be doing the rounds in Scotland.
Had a nice day today meeting some mummy friends then picking up a few Primarni bargains. Got H some very cute shorts.
Did I mention that my gorgeous chunk in now 17 lb 13oz at 21 weeks. HV was very happy with him as he is following his line. She also said I should be very proud of myself for BFing for so long, which I am!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Gymfiend- I meant to respond to you too! Guy is so gorgeous
. Sorry you are having a tough time with the mastitis. I would definitely go back to your GP for some stronger ABs and do please mention the bleeding as it could be a sign of an infection. Are you exclusively pumping? Will Guy not latch on at all? I only ask as I think your boobies do get better emptied by baby than a pump, but obviously if he can't latch then that is not an option for you. Please try to remember that you are doing a fantastic job, and if you do want to keep going with the BFing/expressing then this horrible phase will pass and it will seem like a breeze. :DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
