  • Gymfiend- I meant to respond to you too! Guy is so gorgeous :D. Sorry you are having a tough time with the mastitis. I would definitely go back to your GP for some stronger ABs and do please mention the bleeding as it could be a sign of an infection. Are you exclusively pumping? Will Guy not latch on at all? I only ask as I think your boobies do get better emptied by baby than a pump, but obviously if he can't latch then that is not an option for you. Please try to remember that you are doing a fantastic job, and if you do want to keep going with the BFing/expressing then this horrible phase will pass and it will seem like a breeze.

Yeah Beccles they did say I have to not munch for 12hours. Didn't mention going back again? Tsk.

It must just be fasting bloods then. If your blood sugar is too high on that one, they'll ask you back for the test with the syrup drink.

I've had it a few times. My fasting bloods are sometimes a bit high, but the tolerance test is usually fine. I'm sort of pre-pre-diabetes :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

My OH thinks that to! He goes on about me having a lay in because i wake up at 9am most mornings with Lily. But that "Lay in" is me mostly awake soothing her back to sleep and it also makes up for what i've been awake during the night when i feed her.

He thinks all she does in the mornings is feed once and sleep and i have it easy. But she crys all morning most times.

    Damn OH's! :p:rotfl:
