Don't worry Jillie :) I just like seeing these things.
It is entirely plausible that he's been living in manc though.

Nicki - Don't feel bad about your step kids, when they're older and more mature they'll realise you are lovely as is Thomas. They are understandably upset that they don't have a traditional family but such is life, they get over it eventually. unfortunately its you that has to be the scape goat for their feelings right now :( lots of loving hugs xx

    come on Elliot!!!!!

anyone know if you can work on a self employed basis while receiving SMP?

Been offered my first Mystery shop and eventually I want to do it all by the books but not if its at the expense of my SMP!

had a google but cant find much
you need to register as self employed with the HMRC before you do any work.
I gave up on MS though, there's just not enough profit in it for me esp with the pita tax returns!! if you register as self emp start your record keeping ASAP because the tax return asks for annoying stuff like how much interest you've earned on all your bank accounts.
I'm not sure on the SMP rules though - maybe call HMRC, if they say its ok then you can register as self emp while on the call x

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

the way i see it sami, they've got to be living somewhere....

watched a C4 prog a year or so ago about a similar thing. Boy A i think it was called. and it was how 2 of them aged 9/10 had killed a girl the same age. they never showed which one of them did it but both were convicted. one comm suicide in prison and this was the story of the other boy with a new identity. it was ever so sad and i found myself feeling so sorry that he wanted to get on with his life but ultimately his past caught up with him. he had in the story, a girlfriend, job and was doing fine.and you really felt that you wanted him to do well but once people found out who he really was it was terrible. and i did feel so sorry for him.

not saying in anyway shape or form that i feel any sympathy for this guy as from all the stories he certainly never reformed. makes you think if one of of them was more the guilty party...

i watched that too jillie, it was really good and yes i did feel sorry for him also.
I think things like this are hard as i would hate to have someone like that staying near me but as far as the law is concerned he has served his time and its now time for him to start again. i think when the crimes involvs children people are less likely to forgive.

i think it's hard because u have to imagine what if u were the victim's mother? But what if u were the killer's mother?? That's much harder but u can see how the law has to be fair to both sides. Thehard part is distinguishing between "just a child" and someone who can be seen as fully responsible for their actions. That turning pt is different for every kid...

    totally agree.

we dont know why he's back in prison anyway, its allspeculation as no details have been released.
unless he's changed his accent, i'm sure there will be people who now think that he's in prison with them. dont think i;d like to be a late 20's male just in prison this week. and he's never been in an adult priosn before he may realise how lucky he was to be given new identity etc
