kindof, are you having a hosp or home birth?Do MWs in your area usually visit labouring women that are planning hosp birth?
if they'll come to you and you are 'happy' to be examined I'd call now, if anything is happening and the MW confirms it it may help you subconsciously to speed up

Thanks again for all your lovely words, well OH kids not here youngest , sick again , she gets ill every few weeks , poor girl, eldest don't want to come [ a bit jealous of Thomas ] , so now I feel guilty as its my fault she won't come round as we have Thomas in our lives.
1 good thing no kids running riot .
2 feel sad eldest don't want to come because of me and Thomas x

I made the mistake of reading about the Bulger killer going back into prison and now I'm utterly petrified of taking Molly anywhere. I want to wrap her up and make sure nothing even a bit worrying ever happens to her.

Well fried eggs are on (made healthy though by using a silicone cicle and a teaspoon of butter) once they are settled I will go for another walk

Sami I am having a hosp birth (Hopefully water birth) they dont come out and see you they ask you to go to the pregnancy assessment unit to be checked over (I think)

SS, I know the sentiment. Someone on my Livejournal friend's list posted that their BIL had a baby die of cot death...it really had me emotional for the whole day after *shudder*.

Urgh Aless, that's number 2 on my list of Big Fears. OH was up all night (he has horrible trouble sleeping) and was just in bed with Molly. He half woke up wondering why she was so quiet and apparently she was so deeply asleep that the normal poking her didn't get a little twitchy I'm-alive response so he woke himself all the way up in an adrenaline sweat trying to make sure she was ok. (She is, BTW.)

Nikkit, don't feel bad, enjoy the quiet. The sick one will be healthy next week, and the older one will either simmer in being jealous for a while and then come around or will get over it sooner than you think. Nobody can resist a cute baby

Jillie, that whole thing makes me shudder, but the name they give in that group is very appropriate. I wonder if the new-name people were trying to give literary clues?

KOAG, cleaning and ironing won't hurt. Just make sure you unplug the iron if you have to leave

LOL tell him he got it in there and can help get it out it did help my labour along! i have reflexology, a sweep and came home for a little this all started at 3pm and she was here for 7!!!

just looked at the link it says he has a girlfriend and a baby, i wonder if she knows the truth?

in that case I'd stay put, do that ironing and keep walking about etc for as long as you feel comfortable, if you went to hosp you won't have the freedom of eating what and when you want etc and you're more likely to get things moving at home

Jillie - that photo is of an Australian murderer(if it's the one in 'photos' I've not joined so can't see the wall), I don't believe it's him because the british press know where he is and he's supposedly stayed in NW england. have you read what the mirror have been saying?

the bulgar thing is awful my nan always told me the best punishment for people like that is beat them with in an inch of there live, let them recover and do it and again .. by the mother of the child .. then they'll know how the fear was for them just before they died ..
