IT sounds to me like you are having a bit of depression, particularly as you are up and about posting now when you should be resting. Push the issue. I'm speaking as someone who also has depression and will need to keep a big eye on herself. I've already had a few wobbles.
The reason i am on here at such a ridiculous time is my waters have broken. Don't know why i came on here, other than the hospital weren't that excited as i'm not having contractions, but i wanted to share with someone. I bet this won't even get read till morning.
From what they said, if no contractions in the nexxt 12 hours i've got to go to the hospital to check out baby is not distressed, and then they will leave me for 72 hours to see if i start off naturally. Whichever way, i'm pretty excited as the end is in sight.
hope the rest of you girlies are feeling ok when you wake up in the morning.

Well, if you go one day over it will be a very nice day for your baby to be born on - hehe, my birthday!!
Good luck and welcome0 -
Good luck Michelle, thinking of you! Keep us posted when you get the chance and don't forget to add your name to the birth list afterwards!0

Good luck Michelle - hope all goes well.
Thinking of you too Julie. You need to find someone who can help you. Would you feel better speaking to one of the other GP's or practice nurse at your doctors? They will be able to help too.
Or what about the health visitor? Mine was lovely and she helped me loads when I had PND.
If you want to chat, drop me a PM anytime xxHere I go again on my own....0 -

My first daughter was due on 03/03/03, but sadly I went 10 days over. That would have been a good birthday.
Got a quick Q as just been packing my hospital bag (think Michelle's news has finally scared me into doing it, being due 2 days after her!) and it's a bit of a vain one I'm afraid. Wasn't a problem for me last time as had long hair that could dry naturally, but this time I've got short hair that NEEDS blowdrying (especially with all the photos and video footage that will be taken!).
Thing is that they don't usually let you use your own electrical stuff in hospital unless they can test it first, by which time you're usually home again. Anyone know whether they usually provide hairdryers? I've asked all the important questions about what is provided for baby, but feel a bit of a twonk asking the midwife about such trivialities :rotfl:so thought I'd try you guys!0 -
thanks for support guys, I think I will go and see GP, she's very nice, our HV is a waste of space, SNAGGLES i haven't made a birth plan, I don't know what I want to do, last time i wanted home birth but ended up going 15 days over and being induced.. which turned out to be wonderful, but I not sure what i want this time and i don't know why i feel so apprehensive, i know that i'm concerned that i'll push my 18 month old out when new babe arrives and i know this is a common worry but i don't think its the root of it all just another added moan.
must go now, thanks again all"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...
