I was going to go for the zapp as it's so lightweight but people say it may topple over and is not suitable from birth. But alot of website say it is.
Also I read someone had the buzz and whenever they went to put it in the car they accidently hit the button that made it open up again.
Help!!!
I wouldn't have this as my only puschair for a new baby. It doesn't recline and your baby will have to spend too long in the car seat. It is extremely lightweight and very easy to push but I think it is only practical for an older child.
I can't comment on the Buzz but I think it may be more gimmick over practicality IYSWIM. There are cheaper and more practical pushchairs on the market.
I do love my Zapp though:smileyhea0 -

I've decided that now I'm in my 2nd Semister (Just)
I will start to buy things for the baby. Bit by bit so it doesn't
hit me so hard financially.

Hi i've got both pushchairs but not the car seat. The zapp is only suitable from 6 months and TBH as it doesn't lie back I'd say a lot older than that really. It probably says from birth if you use the car seat. The problem is you shouldn't have bubs in the car seat for more than an hour at a time because the hunched position can restrict the babies breathing.
The buzz doesn't have a button to open it. It has a strap with a catch the same as those that do up most pushchair harnesses. Locating the strap to keep the pushchair closed isn't always easy it can get caught around the frame. I find the pushchair quite unstable more so than the zapp. I don't find closing the puschair that easy either. It wouldn't be my choice if I were spending all that money on my only pushchair.

Hi guys, don't normally get time to post a great deal but i'm feeling soooo miserable and low.
I'm 30 weeks along now and have an 18month old, an eleven year old and twelve year old, eldest two from my last marriage, I had no support back then and ended up with post natal depression.
I have a new husband who is wonderful, when i was pregnant with my now 18 month yr old he was great, couldn't do enough for me etc etc, this time round he doesn't seem as interested...not sure in what way but it's not the same as last time, i feel as if the novelty isn't there for him this time now that he's had his first but its still a big thing for us mums no matter if its your first or sixth!!!
Thing is the way i'm feeling i'm not sure if its down to what i've just written or whether the depression is starting to rear its ugly head, i told my midwife about it last time and she said about keeping an eye out for it as i'm more prone to getting it, but this time i keep getting a different midwife and don't find them approachable at all, everything has been too much bother for them that i just get in and out as quick as poss.....i won't go into great detail about that as its not relevent....
last time the birth was great, i embraced it and felt so in control, this time i'm not looking forward to it, and i don't know why,
I feel so fed up, for the last couple of weeks i've been in tears most of the time, i don't feel as though i'm coping at all but i'm not sure if thats just cos i can't rest as much this time, due to littleun, and my older two are great lads but i'm forever chasing them up with things like dirty washing, pickin' up stuff from floor, school stuff ...that type of thing and it's constant and i've had enough, i feel like smashing a load of plates, but then is it just me being irritable? my head feels like a zombie mess and i don't know why
oh dear aren't i going on...very woe is me...very sorry....i'll say goodnight now, won't go to bed yet though as too miserable to sleep."You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...
until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it"

Julie please try and see your GP or talk to babys dad. IT sounds to me like you are having a bit of depression, particularly as you are up and about posting now when you should be resting. Push the issue. I'm speaking as someone who also has depression and will need to keep a big eye on herself. I've already had a few wobbles.
The reason i am on here at such a ridiculous time is my waters have broken. Don't know why i came on here, other than the hospital weren't that excited as i'm not having contractions, but i wanted to share with someone. I bet this won't even get read till morning.
From what they said, if no contractions in the nexxt 12 hours i've got to go to the hospital to check out baby is not distressed, and then they will leave me for 72 hours to see if i start off naturally. Whichever way, i'm pretty excited as the end is in sight.
hope the rest of you girlies are feeling ok when you wake up in the morning.

Hi Julie, I agree, go and have a chat to your doctor. It's horrible to be feeling the way you are feeling, when you should be enjoying your pregnancy.
I think the feelings of fear about the birth probably also stem from how you are feeling. Have you done a birth plan? I have done this really early on this time, because I was fretting about the birth, and putting down in writing exactly what I wanted (even if I change my mind later) helped make me feel like I was in control.
Take care of yourself and everything will be okay, no matter how things seem now xxx
Oh and Cha97michelle, I'm so excited for you, only a few days at most till you have your baby. Why does it always feel like you have been pregnant for years???Good luck, hope you have a wonderful birth, and let us know when you have news!

Fingers crossed for char97michelle that things happen sooner rather than later, and that you have an easy time of it (if that's possible).
Julie: I'd also agree that you need to talk to someone about this. Try your GP, try the hospital, try the baby's Dad. If you can't get any sense out of your midwife then demand to see someone else. Please have done this in the past.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

HTH
I may give them both a miss.
Any suggestions for a lightweight pushchair suitable from birth?
I want a lightweight pushchair because we will be going to the carribean when the baby is 3 months.0
