Hi! I got married on the 1st of July and we are now trying for our second child. I am so in patient, the whole process is going a bit too slow for me. I can't wait until I'm pregnant and then the 1st scan. I already have baby n ames in mind.

    Hi

Can I join?? I have DD1 who is nearly 10 (August baby), DD2 who is 7 1/2 months (December baby), and I am desperate for another!!!! Hopefully I will soon be able to become an "official" member, but in the meantime, maybe I can offer some support.

I hope you are all managing to keep cool, and managing to get sleep in this heat!!!!

Congratulations to all the pregnant mommies, good luck to all the TTC mommies!!

    Hi All

I'd like to join. I'm 36 and 11 weeks gone, I have my 1st scan on 2nd August. I have to say I am terrified. We have had lots of problems trying and had been referred for infertility treatment (first appointment for that was to be 5th August).

I have no idea about pregnancy & birth and was amazed when the Doc suggested doing a pregnacy test as I had missed a period (I have hormone imbalances) and was expecting more time to get used to the idea.

Any advice on baby deals, equipment recommendations and things like that would be very gratefully recieved.

I too am trying (and struggling) to give up smoking. I am suffering with very hot feet at the moment (OMG they are soooooooooo hot!!!!)

Wow lots of MSE babies on the way :j

Evie is still squatting and has been for 3 days now  I am hoping a sweep and an induction date from the midwife this afternoon will get her to move her backside :rotfl:

Quote from a letter in a newspaper today "pregnant women who are getting a "bumpy ride" might like to know some rail operators such as South West Trains and One,offer a free first class upgrade. It is also worth season ticket holders asking their train operators customer services about any such schemes."-Anthony Smith,Passenger Focus.
Think this may only apply to season ticket holders, though its not made perfectly clear here.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I have a boy already and would like a girl. If I don't have a girl it's not a problem, I'll still be over the moon, but would like to try.

I've heard lots of advice and tales but does anyone have any experiences with this?
  • Since it's esentially the male who chooses the sex of the baby, I think they're all old wives tales and will rarely come to anything. I'm sure someone else will be along soon with some more constructive advice tho!!

Friend, who is a nurse, wouldn't allow her partner pork in any shape or form. Baby 1 a girl, baby 2 a girl. Refused for the third, a girl. So who knows. Might make him more willing if a bacon buttie is on offer at the end :)
