    Sorry Worto03, missed your posting.

    Congratulations Worto03 and your partner.
  • :D

    no worries & cheers,

This is possibly the most usefull thread I have ever read on this forum!

I think thats because with money I have a pretty good idea about what I'm doing (with the small amount we've got) and use this site to confirm it but as for pregnancy I'm lost!

Thanks to all for the advice so far anyhow.
    worto.
  • Hi there everybody,

I would like to join too pretty please.
I am an old hand at having babies but not at posting on forums. I am 30 yrs old and currently expecting my third babie due on February 15th 2007, however due to lots of complications I had in my last pregnancy I will not go past 30th January 2007.
I have copied the list and inserted my name in the February slot. I am 20 weeks and have my scan on Friday but we have decided not to find out the sex as I like suprises too much :j
I have a 9 yr old daughter and my son has just turned one on 20th Sept. Not planned that way but, hey, that's life. It's nice to know that not everyone is a yummy mummy and finds some things just as hard as I do. I am just as excited about this one as I was with my first. Only difference is now I have type 2 diabetes and am finding the whole insulin injection routine a toughy as not used to it. Any advice on remembering it, any one?? You know how empty headed pregnancy makes you.....lol:rotfl:

Absolutely. She hasn't been on MSE since 19/9 so perhaps things have already happened.....

Any good websights that allow you to track your pregnancy development with pictures of a growing featus in it. something that give your monthly/weekly advice on what to do for health and planning.

I know about the BBC and babyworld and babycentre sights but are there any other good ones?

Just about pregnant. Only 5weeks not.

Also what can you sigh up for so that you can get all sorts of free stuff as a pregnant person?

    NHS direct is quite good

Anyone got any advice on a suitable car.

We currently have an old mini cooper & a pretty battered Rover 25 (2000 plate ) both of which need changing.

Thinking of getting rid of the mini & buying a 5 door 206 which seem to be going for about 5500 in decent condition (I have 3500 in a ISA so only a small amount would be some sort of loan) or maybe none at all if we get a decent amount for the mini.

Then waiting until thats paid off to get something else as a replacement for the rover.

Is the 5 door 206 reasonable for all the kit I've heard I'm going to have to carry with me?!?

    Cheers,
    worto.
