Many congratulations Babitee!!! xxx0

Hiya All
It seems like I have already been pg for ages and ages, and I was getting a bit concerned that I must be near the end of my first trimester, and still no scan or MW appointments.
My pregnancy was unplanned, so I wasn't paying particular attention to monthly dates etc.
Well finally, after phoning the GP and hospital and not having much joy - they promised to get someone to call me back yesterday, but the phone was silent all day. I was so annoyed, but not surprised either.
Anyway the post arrived this morning, and at first I thought it was some lottery / charity appeal letter and I left it until last to open, only to discover that it my scan appoinment.
I have my dating appointment for next Wed, and I am so excited. Thank goodness it isn't a long wait for it either.
As you can tell, I am chuffed !! I will finally be able to add mysefl to the EDD list .....0 -

afternoon ladies (and bumps)
I had my first proper antenatal appointment today, the midwife couldnt take my blood though as i have difficult veins! and rather than poke me to death she has told me to go to the hospital to get it done! (im one of those that cant give blood because as soon as they take more than one lot im on the verge of passing out... and she was going to take THREE!! Tony Hancock is spinning in his grave on my behalf)
she tried to hear the babys heartbeat aswell but couldnt find it, but i know thats perfectly normal at this stage.... seeing as bubba is still hiding.
so we were not worried (but it would have been nice)
I got my bounty pack voucher though.... and i have a question,
who got thiers from Asda and who from Boots? and what did you get in them?
apart from the £5 george voucher is there any difference in the contents?0 -

) and £1 off nappies, £1 off sanitary towels and £1 off Fairy washing powder (most Asda stores might take these even without buying the product anyway
).

Don't worry about what they might be thinking at work - your job is concentrating on making yourself feel better. Stuff them
I had an ear infection earlier on in this pregnancy and it was HELL so I sympathise. Combine that with all these other infections you've got and there's no wonder you're feeling rubbish (crying for no reason is completely normal BTW - get used to doing it for the next year or so!)
Hope you feel better soon - there's not much advice I can give other than take it easy and drink as much as you can to flush all the nasties away0 -

I have actually received three of the Mum to Be Bounty packs:eek:
One from my midwife at my booking in appointment along with the 'wallet and book' pack which also contained a voucher which I collected at Asda. Received the third last night at antenatal class
As Dormouse said, you get a better deal collecting it from Asda (at customer services) as the £5 George voucher and other £1 off's is a bonus you don't get with the others. Apart from that there is not much difference in the packs I have received though.
Latest booty (sorry Bounty!):

Fruit Bowl Fruit Flakes - Raspberry with Yogurt (Yum!)
The dinkiest pot of Sudocrem you ever did see! (15g)
Sachet of Ovaltine & 20p off coupon
