Clarkey1000 - so sorry to hear your news, take time to get over it, I was on a rollercoaster of emotions for about 6 weeks after mine - so take it easy.

Becles - I think I have read that you had much smaller babies last time, I bet it is quite a shock to be expecting a big one. Both my babies were 5lb9oz so you kind of expect you only have small babies - so I better watch out next time!! Take it easy.

Yes my boys arrived at 36 and 37 weeks, weighing 5lb 11oz and 6lb 1oz. This baby is bigger than them already and she's younger!

It is a shock, but my midwife pointed out that my boys were born with my ex-husand whereas this baby is with my new husband. She said it could simply just be a different set of genetics producing a much bigger baby. So everyone at the hospital are saying it's hubby's fault now :rotfl:

No test results back yet, but having the scan on baby's brain on Monday, so we'll find out then if she has spina bifida or not.

Good luck Becles! What a big baby! If it helps one of my friends has had four boys over the ten pound mark,and says that gravity is on your side!

Also a quick thanks again for all the support with my recent early miscarriage. It really did make a difference as only some close friends knew. We are now feeling alot better and are going to start trying again.

Can I add myself onto the list. I am now 23 weeks and feeling sickbecause I think my little boy must be a jumping bean! He hasn't stopped all afternoon. Had 22 week scan and all appears fine but so far I haven't had anything except my booking paperwork off my midwife, when I do see her. We seem to be seen every 6 weeks.

Thought I'd put a quick post on to say I'm thinking of you Clarkey1000, as exactly the same thing happened to me just over 2 months ago. Still can't help checking this thread, and keeping a subconcious track of how many weeks I would be by now, but it does get better.

Hi all. dont really post much but just wanted to say hi.
Im neary 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I have a son Thomas who will be 2 next month. I was Told on Monday that they think its a girl - in the excitement i told everyone - now im worried they got it wrong !

Dont think im horrid - i would of been happy if they had told me its a boy but i need to know for sure ! Its driving me mad, am i being silly or does anyone else question they have been told the wrong sex ?
I have a 4d scan in June so i suppose i will know for sure but it just seems ages to wait !
